It is amazing how happy this lady is embedded herself in the culture, That;s why she seems so fluent in Yoruba. In order to learn a language, you have to love it to the fullest. The law of life says; whatever the mind accepts and conceives is always achievable. I just love to admire the way she carries herself.

I just see this video after almost 12 years but I think the Nollywood should have invited this young lady. She would have been an asset in movie making

I like this young lady. I believe she truly loves Africa and its people. It is people like her, Titilayo, that will help bridge the gap between Africa and the rest of the world. God Bless you and best wishes.

No, she studied Yoruba at Uni. of Wisconsin for 3 years b4 her trip to 9ja. Nevertheless, she is very good. I myself can't speak it without interjecting English words. I must confess, I she speaks better than a whole lot of Yoruba.

I know, but I felt like this interview really alienated those who didn't speak Yoruba. I was very fascinated by the guest and her willingness to learn Yoruba; I really wanted to know more about her journey to Nigeria, her future plans her background etc.

Iam not surprised, the world is round every one should be able to know each others language not just us Africans speaking English, reading and writing it too.civilization started in Africa, our language is the 1st remember "Hieroglyphics" was not invented by an American.we need to see more westerners that are interested in us not just for slavery and commercialization.I am a proud Nigerian, arrogantly proud!!!!

It's not silly that Nigerians are going crazy over this..... It's RARE! They don't see this everyday and it makes them excited that the whites want to learn their language. How many whites do you see speaking yoruba? Plleeeease tell me. Stop complaing...people who complain about everything just- what's wrong with you all? goodness.

@flowers2127 : You are silly, this is an educative programme to motivate us to appreciate our language. How many nigerians speak yoruba this fluent? Yoruba is not an international language and this is very encouraging and rewarding that our language is getting exposure to the outside world. Appreciate and give credit for a job well done:

@ateamga, did you say this is pointless? May I ask to whom is this pointless? So unless one can learn the whole of 250 languages it is pointless to learn one? Well.... Up to 400 languages are spoken in India. And I am proud to speak one of them. I don't think it is pointless either.
