Kubo's style is the perfect blend between realism and cartoony. Often mangakas would lean towards one, but Kubo blends both which makes his art style so unique and cool.

Of the big 3(naruto, one piece), Kubo draws the hardest looking poses, hes so good at drawing badass poses from solos, group shots, swordfight poses and bankai reveals. Tite and kishimoto(naruto) styles are kinda similiar but i argue kubos is cleaner and has much more flair, kishimoto on the other hand does great action sequences and combat scenes. Plus tite kubos use of pitch black space is unparalleled
Kubo did confirm he's been messing with digital around 2 years ago. His improvement with the tools was insanely fast.
Thanks for featuring my favorite mangaka among the big three! Kubo's eye for design and style is unparalleled and is a big inspiration for me as a beginner artist.

Respect for mentioning MrTommo2304
10:11 That panel here pretty much shows the Hiyori-Shinji relationship with her first introduction. She is shown standing with her legs outside of the box on top of Shinji's head, who is bent. There's a lot of nuances in Kubo's drawing that may be missed if you take it as a simple drawing, and not a part of the visual storytelling
I really love his fashion sense and composition. Something tells me that Kubo would make really good album covers. Great video as always.
Thankyou tite Kubo. Ur manga bring jot to my life.

I'm really fascinated with details, so seeing Kubo's input into his character's clothes was a feast for the eye, especially the printed designs and patterns he chose, their clothes looks like you can touch the fabric and feel the prints
10:11 its character writing. Hiyori, as a person, demands a dominating presence wherever she goes. So much so, in fact, that everything in the background is drowned out by her sudden apperance, and she will literally *stand ontop of* anything that tries to steal her spotlight(in this case, Shinji)
Mr Tommo definitely is debatably the most knowledgeable bleach fan I have ever seen
For me he is brilliant artist and has the best style of drawing
I cannot express how thankful I am for this video! I was obsessed with Bleach for most of my teens and experiencing kind of a renaissance now as an adult, with the anime coming back. And what has stayed with me throughout the years is Kubos excellent art, so thanks a lot for putting a spotlight on it!
Easiest the best character design of jump, a monster with a pen. People say that he doesn't design scenarios, my friend with this stylish and worked design, I didn't design scenarios anymore and Kubo draws wonderful places.
Now I'm excited for the Burn the Witch, I love to see how Kubo continues his art
bro when i saw the video about some "bleach trailer" i thought it was a fanmade animation and i had a stroke when ichigo pulled up and i noticed viz uploaded it
Really hope burn the witch comes back
i kinda like the Blanke Space in the Pages, it just made me more Focus on the Front Picture and just gave me that Nice Clear View Feeling i don't Always got from most Panels with Backround!
the beauty of white space
Tite Kubo artistry is immaculate
11:18 I love that spread, with them walking together while the poll result was posted above, it really gives the idea that Ichigo and the gang are actors that just received their awards
Didn’t know that about him and the late Akira toriyama, his influence was truly incredible
bleach got the most hype soundtracks in the big3
14:35 Masashi Kudo is the anime's character designer, Tite Kibo designed the Zanpakuto spirits (among others designs) and Masashi Kudo adapted then into characters sheet for the animators to animate.
This kind of content is what the bleach community appreciates. A wholesome overview of the abilities of our beloved artist. As an avid "Bleach" viewer and reader I witnessed the evolution of Kubo-sensei's abilities first hand. It's one of the reasons why I love the series so much. It's his work that inspired be to become a manga writer so I could weave my own elaborate story for people to become entwined and involved in! How his youthful admiration for his characters evolved into a whole hearted attempt to gove each character their own vitalities!
Amazing video as always
love your videos man
Kubo art is goated it literally inspired my first style And also will you do an artistic on yoshiaki sukeno soon the art is so amazing
Crime that this video hasn’t gotten more views, w content !
Amazing video! I took several notes on his art style, and I think I might start reading the manga or watch the anime. Also, I was wondering if you’ve looked at any of the TYPE MOON/Fate series artists such as Takeshi Takeuchi or Hirokazu Koyama. They obviously fit into a more anime style than a lot of the other artists you’ve showcased so far, but I’m interested in seeing what takeaways you could glean from their artworks.
good video bro, i really love bleach and tite kubo art style, for me its one of the best mangas ever
Alright art analysis video!!
Loved the vid (As usual) Sorry to ask again but can you make a video on Akira Hiramoto?!

Im sure youre busy but an artist analysis on yuki tabata would be rather cool. Hes def one of my favorite manga artists to come up in the last several years
one of these on q hayashida (dorohedoro) would be sick af!!
Your best Video Yet ...
These have been extremely helpful and entertaining to watch! Out of curiosity, have you seen any of the D.Gray-man series by Katsura Hoshino? Especially in the later chapters, their artwork shines. I especially find the coloring attractive to the eye. Unfortunately the manga seems to slip by most and stay in the shadows. Cheers! Hope you have a good day
Great video! Can you do Tetsuo hara, he's the Fist of The North Star artist.
🙌🙌 yes I have always loved Kubos art style, so seeing a analysis video on his style is a huge win
The heart.
Dude😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!!!! You used a Clio grom " the IT show" when he jumped due to the crimes you got q new sub
could you do an analysis of akira hiramoto next? for uh... reasons.
He started using digital only more when working on burn the witch
Mangakas rarely draw the backgrounds themselves. They are generally done by assistants. It was very much an artistic choice.
Personally out of the big 3, I feel like Kubo has the best realism character designs and he knows how to convey tone PERFECTLY with contrasts, blank spaces, eyes, rain, and the characters body language. Where Kubo drops the ball though is backgrounds… One piece (Oda) has the best backgrounds and environmental art out of everyone in the Big 3. He has CREATIVE character design, but my personal taste doesn’t like it and it often times feels cartoony. Oda definitely has mastered environmental art, but where he drops the ball and so does Kubo is in their fight choreography With One Piece, Oda sometimes makes it hard to know when a character is using a certain type of Haki, and he keeps most fights mid to far range fights and not hand-to-hand. Of course that’s bc luffy is a rubber man so he stretches making fights longer-range. Still tho. With Bleach the fights can sometimes be very very hard to follow as speed blitz makes it hard to keep up. Kishimoto (Naruto) is the artist that excels in hand to hand combat. Fights are very easy to follow in naruto and the choreography feels like ur watching a martial arts battle go down with every panel. In my personal opinion the weakest artist is kishimoto but don’t hate me. That’s my opinion. I love his choreography but the characters have no design at all and wear the same outfits 90% of the time between each time skip. The designs almost feel flat to me.
Question when looking at their manga art what’s the song that plays
Please do one for Hayashida Q!

Can you do Kazuki Takahashi. He is the yu gi oh guy.
How do u have mugetsu TV in there lmao
videos are fire but you gotta change your background music every once in a while
Kubo did use speed blitz a lot. 😂 But Hohou is one of the fighting technique, so I let it pass.
9:40 kubo wasnt lazy, he intended to do that. Its so easy ro debunk for haters. Plus super saiyan goku had blonde hair because Akira didn't want to shade😑 and that'd the biggest thing to hylut the page ever
Persona 3 songs ❤
Haha fact ifinished bleach and none is interesting. i watched abit jujutsu ,yet only bleach makes me rewatch the same episodes with same curiosity and joy
What happens when a, former Power Ranger and, Sailor Moon have a, kid together?
I will say, out of the big 3 kubo is easily the best artist in general the only thing I would say kubo was weak in was choreography
If ure about too lazy to draw the surroundings here the solutions just draw a zoomed face in the frame, done
Shonen jump never rejected Bleach because of Yu Yu hakuso WTF
Man you're artist analysis are one of the bests I've seen here on youtube!! Not to jump out on baseless conclusions, but as an aspiring mangaka myself. The "lack" of scenery, enviroments or whatever in Bleach. Does not bother me at all!! Kubo are telling an engaging story (mostly in Arrankar's Saga, my favorite) and the enviroments are necessary to help the setting and all that jazz. But they are not at the centerstage. I think that Kubo was not trying to show off how he is great at drawing everything! Telling a good story is not all about showing off. But express your true intentions by your art a narrative. So this never bothers me. But I must say that thee story itself has it's fair share of inconsistence throughout. (Like Ichigo having the powers of each "race" and everything) and this is most visible in the weak arc called FULLBRINGER, but aside that, He, Kubo brings so much to the table!! Bleach is one of my favorites!! ( Sadly not in my top 7, because I am not too keen on " The Sword style" anime, I prefer martial arts) But man. What an amazing job you are doing! Keep on the good work!! Glad to know your chanel!! ( And you deserve to SKYROCKET, at least more 100K subscribers do make justice to the quality of your content!!)
