I'm glad that they are telling us he can turn into other animals I do hope to see the Gorilla which in my mind I feel that's his best transformation in combat

Love that he can turn into ANYTHING that is bound to that planet or on that planet extinct or not animal wise Fun fact that goes the same when he is off planet too his powers adapt wherever he is so off world he would only transform into the Animals and creatures of that planet he’s extremely overpowered 😭

beast boy has always been a very interesting character, like the episode on teen titans cartoon when beast boy was going through different transformations, very dark very awesome

Imagine beasty gets scared and turns into an armidillo mid fight

If they don’t have the budget to do any of the characters justice.. don’t do the show.. can’t wait for a reboot of this reboot

continuous plotlines that BeastBoy can't control his abilities kind of ruins the character. Him quickly turning into a bunch of different things to fit the situation or even on a whim is what made the character interesting.

Thats why I stopped watching the show. If you don't have the budget to do the characters justice then make it into a kick ass 2D cartoon

In think a lot of the characters, especially Beast Boy are a very special case of meta/homo magi. Niles Caluder has done a mix of technology, magic and alchemy to transform most of the Doom Patrol Characters. I’ve always considered Beast Boy to both have the Mets human ability to alter his DNA into animals, but also because of that, he has a connected to THE RED, the spiritual manifestation of all animal life in the universe. Characters like Animal Man, Vixen, Bwana Beast, and Beast boy are notable character who have connected to that mystical animal plain. It’s interesting that if you think about it Beat Boy is technically immortal due to his vast genetic malleability. If he were to loose an arm or suffer internal wounds, he could just turn into the animal he needs to regenerate his lost limbs and heal fast.

I hope they explain whether the chip in Gar's head was removed. If it's still in there maybe the Cadmus tech is reacting to the Star Labs tech? Unlikely, cos that Tree thing looked ominous

I think the tree was 'The Red'. You know how all of the speedsters have The Speedforce? And more specifically (this is probably more closely related to this subject), Swamp thing always talks about 'The green'? Basically, the green connects all living plant-beings, but more specifically, those who have the affinity to control plants and nature, like Swamp-thing, Poison Ivy, and that oneSwamp-thing lookalike guy, can connect more deeply to 'The Green', a kind of Speedforce for them. The same concept exist for fauna, called 'The Red', this is kind of like 'The Green', but for people that can turn into animals, or have some kind of power connected with animal-abilities. So people like Vixen, B'wana Beast (I think he's also connected), and more importantly Beast Boy are connected to this metaphysical field. This is why Beast Boy can turn into every animal on earth that exists, or once existed. Each planet has their own field, though, which is why in Young Justice, when they all went to Mars, Beast Boy could turn into Martian fauna (but he lost the ability to turn into earth animals). This also extends to different realms, as when the heroes (Beast Boy included) found themselves in hell in Justice League Dark: Apocalypse, he gained the ability to turn into Hell-creatures.

Beast boy transformations are so rare in this adaptation... For eg even in a compilation video you see like 4 mins of not beastboy transforming in a 4 min video... Wtf is this shit... or am i missing something

@@hoshinesh It's disappointing that in the old cartoon show Gar was shown transforming all the time, but in this show they wave their hands and we are supposed to imagine it. Also disappointing that Kori and Raven do not fly, again for budget reasons.

Like this is SEASON 4?!?! And we can’t even see a SINGLE transformation, just we off screened the action and get some banter instead. Need to put some quotes around the “transforms” in the title.

Sooo...we never see all these transformations? This show continues to rip us off! Conner, Donna, Raven, and Starfire can't fly. Gar rarely uses his powers. Garth was killed in the 2nd season by a bullet, yet Atlanteans are bullet proof. Donna has yet to deflect a bullet or anything else with her bracelets.🙄 I really like this show. But creators/producers of the show truly do the BARE MINIMUM! Like the last few Disney plus shows...if you can't afford to do the show properly...why even do it??
