@@cactusfacemcgillicuddy Yeah right…that’s what this is about, not the way he yelled at her 🤦🏻‍♀️ He didn’t have to be so harsh. The woman just had more empathy than others combined. The world would be much a better place if there were more people like her.

@@amylee8969 Quite true. Even then, about 1/2 would have still died. "The ship had 20 lifeboats that, in total, could accommodate 1,178 people, over half of the 2,223 on board the night it sank." 706 survived. About 470 people died, who could have been on a Titanic lifeboat.

Molly Brown actually threatened to throw the officer overboard in real life. James Cameron was actually confronted by Molly Brown’s great-granddaughter in 2012, and this movie mistake was added to the long list of historical and scientific mistakes that is in the 1997 movie (Which is pretty amazing to me, considering that me, being born the year they filmed the movie, actually knew and realized this disastrous mistake James made the first time I watched this movie (in 2005) and he didn’t even acknowledge it or even let on as if he knew anything about it until 2012.

That`s not to say she was stupid or smart since their opposites. She just cared that`s all.
