This ship model is even more accurate than the other one: funnels fall easier and more detail ( masts flag etc)

I liked it, I loved it, the screams of the 1st 2nd 3rd class passengers were the best, and the noise of the ship too and the music of the violinists, congratulations!💐

I do agree that this is how it actually sank, but but I do believe that the first 2 funnels collapsed a few seconds after they went about 20% underwater and the 4th funnel not collapsing.

I am very astonished to see how accurate this model is. But I see that the word “Titanic” is missing from the two front sides and the stern. That would make it an almost 1:1 replica of the ship. (Not including the scale, obviously.)

It’s also missing the cable that runs along the top, but I assume that’s so the model can actually split.

Great quality, love the models details, music choice and the sound editing. Only one thing, waters to shallow. Try and remake it in a pool or something with greater depth, it would be perfect... At around 0:20 passengers really preferred life boats to the Titanic...

I actually removed all the magnets it fits together like a puzzle pice now but I used at first 1mm ion magnets 🧲

So far they’ve been doing great I’ve only had problems with the magnets 🧲

The way to make attach a detach is to have a hull that connects and a clip at the top that isn’t visible want intact

from the looks of it the use of a magnet to hold the ship together and rubber bands for the funnels. When the ship breaks in the video you can see a slight glimpse of the rubber bands on the funnel

​@Black-darkened you can tell he made the model himself. He likely bought a scale model kit built and painted it and cut it and added compartments to sink it. Also the sinking models you find online look nothing like the one in the vid

First thing you have to put ballast aka weight to your model otherwise, it will flip to its side. Use pennies to add that weight. For a smaller scale this is easy to do but for a larger scale… I have no words.

Then you will have to put in bulkheads in the model. Use a plastic sheet and then hot glue it to the hull and make sure that it is watertight. Don’t make your bulkheads to high or else it won’t flood the next compartment.

For the break up use an X-acto knife and then mark where you are going to cut the model. Mark it carefully because once you cut it, their is no turning back. Heat up the knife with your stove- DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK YOU CAN GET HURT then carefully cut through your model to create the split.

To do the breakup effect I’d probably use a magnet or a piece of Lego to separate the 2 parts while it sinks what I did was to use a sponge…. Yes.. a sponge. If you want to know the sponge method then here you go. Put around 80% of the sponge in the bow section and have the stern hold on the other 20% Trust me, size does matter for this one. Have the sponge big and tightly secure to the hull and the superstructure. Your sponge’s size may vary depending on the scale of your model. Told you size does matter.
