Titan X-3 21.5 inch folding rack review

Seeing you struggle with the pins might be the best advertisement for a PRx rack that I've seen!

Lol. By the 4th time pulling it back out, it slides easily. $450-500 total was worth it to me.

considering prx is damn near 3x more 🤔 yea I think I'm okay with taking another 1 min to set it up

Thanks for the demo and talking through the challenges of putting it up. It's amazing how systems take things like level floors for granted.

Thanks so much for posting this. My wife got me the shorter version to fit under the garage door rails and waiting on it. I expected it to be a pain to install even before I saw your video but I'm glad to hear you are satisfied with it.

I just bought what you bought since I'm keeping under the garage rails too - how did it go? I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Well it never arrived and we found out it had been discontinued so we got the refund. Couldn't wait for the new model so I got the Rep Fitness PR-1100 instead which is not wall mounted. Luckily got it before all this pandemic stuff happened.

@@shaun4928 Yes. It's very stable even though it is not one that bolts to the ground. It has a dip attachment and doing dips does make it shake a bit but I never feel like it's going to tip over or come apart. It's very well built.

Hello sir, I noticed you had some problems putting the pins in and you said it was a little warped. We do have a one year warranty on our products, so you could get whatever piece causing you trouble swapped out!

So we’re you not able to get one of the anchors into the wall stud? Concerned with that now.

The 2x8’s are mounted to the studs and that is enough support. Most of the weight once the rack is setup, is distributed to the ground. Still working great.

What size screws did you use to secure the 2x8 to the studs and the rack to the 2x8? Getting ready to pick up that hardware tomorrow for install. Thanks, well done on the install.

How much do you notice the extra rack width compared to traditional racks? I've seen complaints that it is too wide, but I have seen novice lifters have more sway when rackinga and unracking than I do and have never had so it'd be nice to hear from someone who has been using it.

It's not a problem. I'm not benching anything more than 250lbs. This rack is working great.

nickmomrik.files.wordpress.com/2018/11/2fpwr-manual-rev-2016-08-29.pdf. This is a link to the installation manual. It’s super easy took me about 45 min by myself. I had the stringers hung 2 weeks before the rack came in and using the measurements given it went together perfect. I had to add a 1/4” to the left side measurements bc my garage floor slopes a bit and it still lined up perfect. Hope this helps to anyone else.

That is a great help! I bought a 41" Titan X3 used and all Titan would send me is a parts list as a "Owners Manuel". This is a big help, thank you!
