Ғылым және технология

I know this is a long video but I feel like it answers all the questions you might have about the ‪@ChiBatterySystems‬ Titan and how it is an upgrade from the Talaria stock battery. Thanks for giving it a view.

My Talaria MX4 w/cut wire and 21/18 wheels gets about 25miles on sport with about 4+k feet elevation climb. About 40miles on eco about 6+k feet elevation climb. Rider weight is about 150lbs.

the stock controller wants the canbus connection to the bms to know when it should use regen when it gets under 90% without the canbus i assume it doesn't do regen at all

Mostly range. It does keep your top end speeds up for longer amounts of time because of the size of the battery though. So that's nice.

Was that with the stock controller?

Wow I'm actually disappointed in both the stock battery and the Titan. I expected stock you'd get around at least 40-50 miles on a charge and the titan at least 70-80 miles on a charge. I have a Nireeka moutain ebike 48v I don't know the Ah on the battery I get 45-50 miles on a single charge and I think that is a little low. I want something that has good range where I can go 40-50 miles on half the battery and turn around and do it again. I'm actually considering not buying neither the Surron nor the MX4 now. It would be a serious waste of money on my part.

There are a bunch of factors here that can affect range. Terrain, rider weight, riding style. I think you're going to be hard pressed to find something like a Talaria or SurRon that's going to get you 100 miles on a full charge, even with a battery upgrade. I am confident that the technology will come, but not right now. So maybe you're better off holding on a purchase.

@@SESSIONS73 Update I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the MX4. I ranged test mine now I'm 170lbs roughly. On my bike I haven't done anything to the battery or controller just yet. I went on a range test going 30mph in eco mode I can reach about 67 miles on a charge. I'm satified with that. Next year when taxes come around I'm going to get the Titan Touring battery and ebmx x9000 controller for this and see how it fairs. I can honestly say I have a blast on my bike. At the moment I have made a wiring harness with a mx3 brake sensor to make the stock rear running light into a brake light. I works great I just need to finalize installation. Mods I have done to mine so far are 21/18 tires and rims, Rippin Moto 250mm Rotors, Non oring chain, Luna pegs, Pro taper bars, Gritshift Blazer headlight, Guts racing seat, Kei moto mud guard, A direct stem mount, warp 9 stem lock, and a Charged cycles graphics wrap, That's what I have done to so far. Later on new forks, controller and battery, is about it. I might replace the rear shock to a better one but honestly the stock fork and rear shock work just fine for my riding. So I may not change them out. I only do road use. I haven't taken it off road yet. Oh and I am getting a turn signal kit just haven't decided which kit I want yet

Dude your little e mtb probably goes 10 mph, these can go like 50mph for 50 miles in sport and in eco it will double that

also yeah no need to upgrade forks or rear suspension if ur only road riding, just save your money and if they get worn after a while get them rebuilt.@@draggerlane04090
