This is an old music from the beggining of their carreer, Today the voice is better because of the new microphones :D ! I Suggest 1 - "Os Cegos dos Castelos" from the time that Nando Reis was in the band. 2 - "Flores" with Branco Mello in the front vocals, 3 - "Homem Primata" with Sergio Brito in the front vocal, 4 "O Pulso" with Arnaldo Antunes when he was in the band :)

Awesome! These songs of the the very begining of the Titãs are the best of them. Rock and energy! Just awesome. Take a look at "Domingo", "Marvin" and "POLICIA" (it fits perfectly to these days).

Do you still read the lyrics of the songs? I like when you like the lyrics in the video even sometimes the robot translate it weirdly hahahaha 😂

Titãs is a old brazilian rock band, they start in 9 members in 1981, in TV show. Arnaldo Antunes left the band in 1992 and founded to Tribalistas with Marisa Monte and Carlinhos Brown in 2001. Marcelo Fromer died in a motorcycle accident in 2001. Nando Reis left the band in 2002 and started his solo career. Charles Gavin also left the band and is now a music producer and TV presenter. The one who sings in the video, Paulo Miklos left the band in 2016 and has a career as a director and actor. Tony Bellotto (guitarist), Branco Melo (guitarist and vocals), Sérgio Brito (percussion, bass, keyboard and vocals) remained from the band's initial formation. Beto Lee (guitarist and son of singer Rita Lee) and Mário Fabre (drums) joined the band.

One of the first concerts i went in life was Titãs, and they are freaking awesome live! It's an unbeliaveble energy. You just can't stand still, you jump amd simg witthout noticing

the whole Titan's band was retired, but a feels years ago, MTV make many accoustic shows with 80's bands, the first one was Legião Urbana, Titans, Capital Inicial, this project make these bands record new albuns and make turn active bands in now days.

Paulo Miklos the singer has also incredibly performed as the main character of an excelent brazilian movie called "O invasor".

I was there on this concert. Titãs is the original write from "polícia" covered by Sepultura.

Besides this unic voice there's also a pretty good actor !!! 💖🇧🇷💖🇧🇷

Best band Rock of Brazil.....

this is one of their most noteworthy songs from their 80s punk phase; they are from São Paulo, which had a thriving underground punk scene at the time (Ratos de Porão, Inocentes, Cólera, Olho Seco, Garotos Podres etc.), and it showed on their music. their first two albums were somewhat more artsy, and Cabeça Dinossauro (86, where this song was originally released) was a shocking swerve: gritty, angry, critical, cynical. the dirty side of new wave, if you will. even though they mellowed out and let the more artistic side show again, this grittiness stuck, and these days one of the things they are lauded for is allying those things that many would consider opposite.

"Cabeça Dinossauro" é um álbum conceitual e a versão original de "Bichos Escrotos" está nele. Tem uma pegada punk. Recomendo a versão original e o álbum. É um dos pilares do rock brasileiro dos anos 80.

Frank some info: The bass player is one of the original 8 but he was only one of the singers until the bass player Nando Reis left. Thats why the other were admiring him doing the bass solo because thats really not his thing until now. In this video only 4 original members are Left of the 8. Arnaldo antunes (tribalistas) was first to leave...then the rythm guitarist died while jogging hit by a motorcycle. Then the bass player left then the drummer and more recentky the singer of this song. The remaining 3 are still playing as titas. All together 5 of the 8 shared evenly vocals.

Their repertory is wide and ecletic! This song, "Bichos escrotos" was reliesed in the album "Cabeça Dinossauro" (means "Dino Head"). I believe that song was the first "fuck you all" ("vão se fuder", in portuguese) that was played live on open TV. It was the 80's...

Look for the original studio version of this song with the original line up and be amazed by that funky bass!

This last one wrote a lot of songs for Cassia Eller and sings too. Try **Nando Reis** and you'll find beautiful and poetic songs!

Titãs, Paralamas do a Sucesso, Legião Urbana e Barão Vermelho was the so-called sacred quartet of Brazilian pop in the eighties.

"Bichos Escrotos": Nasty beasts/animals Titãs: Titans. Their shows are very, very good. Always this great vibe!

In their "Golden Age" Titãs were 8 brilliant and unique musicians. And 5 of them were singers with different styles. They're music style changes record to record. They're also brilliant songwriters. Checkout the lyrics too.

Nobody in Brazil saw the bassist without his glasses, ever (and the band is from the 80s kkk). If you liked it, Titanomaquia is the most grunge album, produced by Jack Endino.

In Titâs, pretty much every member composes and sings, and most of its members lead-sing one song or another, and they always try new things throughout all their career. There’s a great ‘MTV unplugged’, with guests: Marisa Monte (“Flores”), Fito Páez, Jimmy Cliff!, and former band mate Arnaldo Antunes (“O Pulso”) I highly recommend “Flores” and “O Pulso”, but the whole show is great!

One of the best in Brasil, they are great alive.

The album cabeça dinossauro was considered brazilian rock album of the 80's.

Maaaannnn if I had to be here speaking about Titãs ity would take ages. They go beyond music, for instance, Paulo Mikos, the singer in this song, is also an actor, a movie director, and a TV show presenter, many of them have their own solo career, etc. They are fucking great!
