​@sergioalessandri8157 I would say to go for it. It's a good everyday watch and very durable. I wear it at work and bang it into things as well as scratch it on surfaces but no scratches appear or any evidence of wear and tear. Great features, including compass, timer, step counter etc. It's like a fancy G shock but super high quality and light Weight. I don't even know I'm wearing it half the time. The ONE PROBLEM would be that is disconnects from the phone randomly and doesn't always stay connected, but, to me, I really don't use that feature and connecting to the phone doesn't really have that much to offer. Setting it up is also really easy and it is very pleasing to look at. I got the titanium band and I love it!

This watch is a masterpiece! I bought them a year ago. The connection with the iPhone is perfect! The appearance is amazing! The solar battery works great. I don’t understand why everyone is so unhappy?

You need to do a hard reboot of the watch. Press and hold all three buttons at once until you see the screen go blank. This may take several seconds. Next go to you cell phone and uninstall the app. Next reinstall the app. Now you will be able to connector the app and your watch and program it . This happened to me and made me crazy until I figured it out.

Same, my watch was on display in the store and I had to factory reset it. I didn't have to go to turn bluetooth on/off. I had to factory reset it and then when it asked to pair with a phone tell it yes. The bluetooth on/off really is for use after that has taken place. He keeps scrolling right on by "Pair With Phone". If you're not paired with a phone there is no need to turn bluetooth on/off. Pairing with a phone automatically puts the bluetooth on. Not charging is not normal. There's definitely an issue there. Most owners will never need to use the included charger with functional solar. Tissot is a Swiss company. In order to place Swiss Made by Swiss law it has to be no less than 60% of it's value created in Switzerland.

You need to long press (2 sec.) the top button to go back to seeing the time (watch function). Mine charges just fine with the sun, haven't charged it once in almost 2 years the charger. Bluetooth is also working on mine. I think you've got a faulty watch. I'm quite happy with mine.

Thanks for making this video. I ordered one, realized it was a used watch (refurbished) so I returned it, I didn't even have all the time to check the details and I am trying to get another. This review tells it all, this is not the kind of watch I want.

Today I spotted Tissot T-Touch Connect on customer’s wrist, so I inquired him about it, as I always do. He said, that while the watch is looking cool, it was a mistake. To problem with Bluetooth connectivity he also added, that indices on bezel are falling off - near the crown, the „E” index. The bezel has lifetime guarantee, but the service is taking around four months, and after another few months the problem returns. I was considering buying this watch, as I really like the look and the features. I have Tissot Sailing Touch, from previous gen. I never had any problems with it, so I wanted to add another model to my collection, this time with full smartwatch capability and solar charging. I think I’ll wait for Tissot to introduce next generation. I’ll pass on this model, sadly 😞

I own both watches and I am not happy with either of them. I love the look of the solar connect, but it is not a simple watch to use. Now my watch is ticking every 5 seconds and I believe that it's my battery, but like yours -- it doesn't charge anymore to full power. I have bought 8 Tissot watches in the past and I will never buy another. Thanks for your videos,

This might work for you…reset watch again to factory settings. When setting the date, put it one day ahead of todays date and then try to pair with your phone. This has worked for other people who have had difficulties pairing.

@@pikanoutepikanoute2698 Don't listen to this guy. It is reliable. It's also not made in China. Tissot customer service is awesome. If you do get a defective watch, odds are you will not, they will make it right.

I'm wondering where you bought the watch. I don't have any country of origin on the box. Neither China nor anything else. And the watch is Swiss, works flawlessly.

If you select mode without phone connection, you have mode without bluetooth. It is expected. My T-touch conect charged from 50% to 80% during a sunny weekend.

I've been thinking about getting one of these for when I go off-roading. Is it really made in China?

Hello. Thanks for your comment . It is indeed made in China. It says it clearly on the box. I had not realized it until after many months of sending the watch for constant repair, I noticed that the manufacturer's box says made in china. It seems to me that it is very expensive for what the watch is.some say that the new models no longer give problems. As far as I'm concerned I think that for the price you can buy a real Swiss made watch that works well, and not this model that as an experiment I think Tissot went wrong.

@tikimjv6366 do the same as i did. Go to the Tissot store, buy one, check the box where it says it's made and then tell me. you will see in big letters MADE IN CHINA . Do not let OTHERS tell you . check it yourself and see .

You can easily do it through the app. I faced the problem but when I followed the procedures I could do it easily through the app.

And also the Title is a click bait. The watch is made is Swiss. It's written on the watch face Swiss Made which means, from Google: "At least 60% of production costs are generated in Switzerland, and. At least 50% by value of all components is Swiss-made, excluding the cost of assembly." How on Earth it is possible to misunderstand that simple rules if you have money to buy such a watch!

In my case it was a long road arguing with the Tissot company. After over a year of failed repairs, they finally gave me my money back. Tissot recognized that it did not work. That watch isn't worth half of what I paid for it. Never worked well .

I could potentially just keep it as a stand alone watch with no phone connection? I choose this watch over an Apple Watch as I do not like the thought of having to charge a Apple watch every 1-3 days like I do my iPhone.

No me extraña que se ha fabricado en China, es una porquería, o por lo menos su APP, simplemente no funciona, unos mensajes entran, otros no, la APP, de repente se desconecta y el reloj sigue luciendo el símbolo del Bluetooth, y no te enteras de que está desconectado. Fatal, más de 1.000€ en un reloj que funciona , la mitad del tiempo, como un Casio.

Yea, that’s right! You can imagine it ? And yet with all that problems, people have watched it, and the information has spread, which is the intention of the video, to warn people not to buy the watch.
