I am very keen to join this class as I would like to finally be organized and have some of the stress/strain lifted; however I am curious, are there any sort of "in-class purchases" I will need to make (buying organizing supplies, etc) for this course to work. As I am on a non-existent budget at the money - no extra money can be spent. PLEASE let me know as am happy to pay $30.00 to get organized as long as I don't need to purchase additional items to get that way. Many thanks x

How refreshing to see a REAL life bedroom that's not straight out of pinterest!! We moved 1.5 years ago from a larger and more modern home into a more traditional, rustic, and smaller space with more land like we wanted. It's like everywhere you look for inspiration is new, white, bright, unachievable and meticulously decorated spaces. Thanks for keeping it real!!

I have two goals this year, reclaim my home (organize and declutter) and reclaim myself. Not lofty at all I know, lol. I may make several comments. I have this playing on my TV as I sort laundry and had to grab my phone to make comments. I Loved when you told the wife at the dresser "does this make me feel good about myself TODAY? Because all the other things are nasty bullies". That is what I needed to hear!

My husband and I are high-fiving each other: We spent New Year's Eve and Day decluttering our bedroom. We went through boxes that have been sitting in the room since we moved in 20 years ago!!! We got rid of EIGHT bags of trash, and a car load of stuff to GoodWill!! You are our inspiration! We focused on decluttering, not organizing. I am ADHD, so easily distracted. We found that keeping focused on this one aspect really helped us get through the massive amount we did! Once we are done decluttering, we will look at what is left and what we need to do to organize the space so it actually works for us. Thank you so much, Cass, for all your continuing inspiration!! ❤️❤️

Hi Cas, your videos are so encouraging and motivating! My big challenge is my boyfriend of 12 years and I sold both of our 1400 SQFT homes and bought a 4,000 SQFT home built in 1913, drafty, dusty two story plus basement, three years ago. That's the fun part 😀I'm still trying to unpack and decorate, but every time I get a room put together... he sees it as the perfect place to set up a table and do a project. He has managed to fill this house with 'collectables'😳. I talk about decluttering my own stuff quite often in hopes of getting him to think about doing the same🤞

Oh, Cas, that's a beautiful job! Your advice is excellent! I started in my bedroom, and i loved how even though the rest of the house was cluttered and awful, i had a clean, minimal space to end the day. And start the day! Somewhere i could retreat when the messes i made were overwhelming. Now, things are much better, but even when my house is upside-down, the bedroom is quick and easy to tidy, and a peaceful retreat.

Haha. A merry‐go-round sounds fun! But a little dizzying. I'm working myself up to be ready to admit I have too much stuff for my space & be realistic about what I actually use. The stuff I haven't touched in 2-3 years, since my last attempt at organizing, should be easy since I obviously don't NEED it to exist. Fingers crossed that I don't get too bogged down. 🤞 Good luck to all.

Me too! I need to declutter, but can't. I have a hard time because I am dealing with my stuff and my parents things..some things I totally know I want to keep but then sentimental reasons hold me back on a lot of other things.

Check out Dana K White's no-mess decluttering videos. I was sceptical at first, but it really works, and you always leave a space better than it was, even if you have to stop in the middle.

Great results! Love how you moved the bed and made the window appear larger and centered! I have the small bedroom closet as well so I removed the accordion closet doors so We could easily access all of the closet. I added grommet drapes and love them!!

I took mine out of the cases and put them in a dvd “book” I had to use 2 but sure takes up a lot less space, fits nicely under the tv, instead of the large bookshelf they were on 😁

The DVD books are amazing! My cases are gone. I donated them for crafts. If I declutter the DVD I either just trash it because it's gotten scratched or donate it in a clear case from something new

I had the same problem!!! I bought a couple of Kvarnvik storage boxes from Ikea, took the DVDs out of their cases and slipped them and their cover papers (these slip right out of the cases) into Clear CPP Plastic DVD sleeves by StarTechDeals. You can order the sleeves from Amazon. They come in packs of 50. I fit them all in three little boxes. Absolutely life changing!

We got a new comforter and side table lamps that match one of the colors in the comforter. Just those two things alone, made such a difference for me. Also cut out clothes that I had multiple of (nightshirts and sweats, wayyyy to many socks 😆). I bought containers for my shoes that slide under the bed, and a $15 bed skirt. Doesn’t take much to make a change. I can’t get rid of clothes really, cause I’m pregnant and I will be going back to my normal size so lol. Also as funny as it sounds. Get all matching color hangers. It’s the lil things.
