If the tire was filled with calcium carbide instead of calcium chloride when it mixed with water it would create acetylene gas.

Yes it would. I have dealt with calcium carbide most of my life. Almost never dealt with calcium chloride. My brain always confuses them. My dad was a spelunker so we had carbide lamps around. I would sneek out in the garage and light them on occasion.

Can’t you just break the bead with the bucket of the skid steer? I break bead all the time with my case 580 out riggers.

I sure could, but. These tires are from 2006 with a calcium load the whole time. The calcium gets into the steel wire in the bead and greatly weakens it. And this is a turf tire so its not only weather checked its really thin. So all that means way to much risk on my side. If it were my tires maybe. If I were replacing the tires probably. I had to be super careful not to ruin the tire. And those tires still had 30 gallons in them. If it squirted on me that would have really sucked. The calcium was super concentrated and burned like the dikens. This client was also shal we say particular. I know if I messed up he would make me pay dearly.
