    I use ReTyre and you don’t need to spray half a bottle per tire. 3-4 sprays, spread it with a detail brush and let it start to pull the dirt out or just right away with the tire brush. Specially as maintenance, 3 sprays is enough for me per tire. Comes down to technique

    Seemed excessive to me too. I for sure thought he went through half the bottle on that one tire. I think he did it just for the video to show the effectiveness. I'm going to pick up both of these products in the future. I still searching for a cleaner that can completely remove tire dressing from Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Not sure what in the rubber compound makes them difficult to remove old water based dressing but, the tire cleaners I've used aren't cutting through.

    @@DasJav I’m also gonna pick up a bottle of ADS Tire Cleaner and test it out! The over use of product goes to both products in my opinion. Now, definitely if I have to do a double application because I use less, am I saving money and time? No. I dont like to see all that product run down the tire and when you go to brush the tire it all flies down too. Kinda like foaming a car and foaming over the foam again and again. Doesn’t pull more dirt, just has more clean foam running down. Great visual we all love, but not effective for it’s purpose I do also wanna try ReTyre with the ADS sprayer which CarPro now uses on their products now too as the standard spray on like Reload for example. So I already have some at home.

    Hi Pan! I alternate between Turtle Wax's Heavy Duty Performance Plus Wheel & Tire Cleaner and the Adams Polish Wheel & Tire Cleaner. Both work great on my tires and wheels. When I 1st started detailing my car, I had trouble getting the wheels as clean as I'd wanted. After carefully watching your detailing videos and investing in wheel cleaning tools, my wheels and tires look awesome! Just wanted to share that I washed my car today and used the TW Graphene Flex Wax as my drying agent. My car looks FABULOUS!!!! I plan on getting a polisher soon so that I can get that incredible gloss and shine that you get on the cars in your vids. I want my ride to gleam while I cruise the highways and byways. A little arrogant, but true nonetheless!

It's on the road 10 hrs a day and parked outside all year and the soap we use comes out of the nozzle at a PH of about 9-10. Our shop bays are crazy dusty so i dont think ill ever get the surface completely clean of contamination and figure a ceramic coating may not be the best option for that reason. I was leaning towards the turtle wax ice seal & shine or the turtle wax ceramic graphine paste wax, any thoughts or opinions?

    Nice video, i usually just stick to my P&S brake buster as I don't always dress the tires (usually 2* per year, so the old dressing is most likely worn down already for 90+%). Would be interesting to see compared to a really cheap product with same Ph value (although this is already good in price), as the brush you use is quite sturdy. One could argue the fact that basic product with same Ph (for the dressing) might be sufficient as the brush does most of the work. This is of course a different scenario than paint, where you don't use a brush or pressure to clean. Wondering if you always use that much product, i think a little less will still do the job and save a few pennies which will add up over time :)

  • @PanTheOrganizer

    @PanTheOrganizer

    3 ай бұрын

    I would use their tire cleaner just to clean tires. A bit of overspray on coated wheels is fine, no worries. I even used Brake Buster pH 12 on my coated wheels often and never had an issue. It depends how stout your wheel protection is of course, but assuming you have a quality wheel coating like the ADS Wheel Armour, it can resist wheel cleaners with no issues. Regular maintenance of coated wheels though doesn't typically require high pH wheel cleaners. A pH neutral soap is usually all that is needed. You use the higher pH stuff for deeper cleanings once in a while.

    Pan, sorry if this question has been asked an answered, but does it make sense to use the product in the second round on the opposite side? In that way, you can tell if one cleaner is taking off that the original cleaner did not take off? Maybe this is a bad example but if one tire cleaner can take off peanut butter and jelly and the other cleaner can only take off peanut butter if you apply them to the same side, you’ll get the same results but if you switch sides you’ll see the jelly come off of the other side. Thanks for your thoughts and your opinions, matter.
