The Mysore Rockets impressed the British forces, who eventually adopted and modified the technology. Sir William Congreve, a British artillery officer, played a pivotal role in further developing rocket technology based on the Mysorean design. The Congreve Rockets, derived from Mysore Rockets, gained widespread use in various conflicts, including the Napoleonic Wars and the War of 1812.
The legacy of the Mysore Rockets lives on as a testament to the innovative military developments of the time, influencing the trajectory of rocket technology in subsequent centuries.
