Quick and simple but filling
I wish you would have spoke of the VULCAN OVENS AVAILABLE FOR HOME KITCHENS
BlueStar should be in this lineup.

Yeah... the conveniences of having electronics in everything come with the added complexities of maintaining and the higher cost of repairing them. Give me an all-gas range with no electrical components..... one that works with just standing pilot lights and nothing else. I want to be able to cook in the comfort of my home, in the middle of a power outage, in the dead of winter. No compromise!

You are right on the money , more electronics mean future service calls .

@Colby Taylor it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
Which brand is best for Industrial/dirty kitchen use? For something like Catering applications.
avoid range that has a computer, you will save yourself time and money. technicians always spike up there service charge when servicing a high end appliance.
What about bluestar?
I went to a commercial stove because all of the home ranges have computer controls. When an electrical spike killed the computer board in my Kitchen Aid range, the oven no longer worked Replacing the board is an expensive waste of time as the next electrical spike will destroy the computer again. After going through this nightmare I will never buy another kitchen range with a computer control. Jenn Air is just another expensive home range that is presented as a commercial range. It is nothing but another piece of computerized junk made to look like a commercial range.

I agree. Commercial is the way to go. You can have a whole home surge protector installed in your breaker box for about $250. Solves a lot of issues.
I spent $15K on a Thermador only to spend another $1200 to replace the sliding shelves 2 years later. They have ball bearings that get stuck after a single cleaning cycle. Everything else was great but the oven shelves are a total fail.
I don't need to program my oven. I need an oven that I set to a temperature and it goes to that temperature. That is all anyone needs.
Does anyone know, WHEN is the best time to purchase a wall oven. Are the prices better toward the end of the year?

Always wait for 4-5 months into the new year, then buy last year’s model.

How can you talk about pro ranges without mentioning Viking? Thats nuts!

what would you get for your kitchen.. Wolf vs Monogram?
@factorybuilderstoresfbs1497
3 жыл бұрын
Oooo! That's like asking which child do you love more, haha! FBS only sells premium brands so Wolf & Monogram are both stellar ovens with similar warranties, so you can't go wrong with either. It honestly boils down to your personal aesthetic and the "vibe" you're going for in your kitchen. A lot of people love Wolf's red knobs (that's usually the deciding factor), but we always suggest coming in to a showroom to see the ovens in person and to discuss your "want list" with a salesperson to ensure you're getting everything you're looking for.

@@peter12266 same response as above! Viking is masterful when it comes to brand awareness, but all have their pros and "1 ups" depending on the home and the user. What "must have" features are you looking for? What's your esthetic? Give me a breakdown and I can tell you which one is best for you :)

Sadly, many who own these hardly use them

I do not recommend. I have Viking and the customer service is nilch. As expensive as these are (investments, practically) YOU WANT VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT REPUTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. First thing I ask about in any appliance.
What about SMEG?
Thanks Laura. Very helpful.. I'm shopping for a range, nothing big.. 36". But the nice American brands like Wolf or Viking are a total rip-off here in Europe.. any European maker you can recommend?

Anyone like ge cafe 30inch duel fuel?
Viking ain't bad. Definitely better than jennair.
Stay away from Jen-Air.. piece of junk ranges.. Thermador (first place), Wolf, Miele and Bertazzoni are the best ever
WHY IS SHE YELLING AT ME?
The girl looks exactly like my ex... ugh... regrets. Gaggenau and Thermador are excellent brands.

Just a set of blue knobs will cost u $500.00. They come standard with the silver knobs.
There is nothing PRO about these ranges they are simply big, flashy, and RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Take a tour of the kitchen of a big hotel or restaurant and look at the ranges they use. They have absolutely NOTHING in common with these pieces of eye candy.
People that can afford this stuff don't cook

Grace well then send it to me, because I do cook and would love a Thermador.
Don't ever buy a Thermador product. Their after market service is horrid. They treat their customers terribly. After 4 months and conversations with 3 different people, I am STILL waiting on a refund for an incorrect part they sent to me. Absolute nightmare.
