Jazakumullah khair ✨ One of the tip for resensitization is that you make promise to Allah for shorter period of time like 6 hours or 3 hours depending upon your addiction that I am not gonna watch that thing for that time period and when period is going to over watch Islamic stuff and again make promise for another time period. Yet the most effective tadbeer that helped me getting control of my nafs was fasting, & it is also stated in a hadith that wo log ( especially youngsters) jo nikah nai krskte, they should prefer fasting on a continuous basis. Believe me its not that hard to fast as we think, its the month of july here in karachi and the temperature is hitting 33° to 36° & might increase with time but though ive started fasting its like being habitual of a particular thing, jab roza rakhne ki adat hojati hai then you automatically start to feel good while in the state of fasting, and in addition to that it boost your spirituality plus your connection with ALLAH swt increases and worship becomes a matter or peace and enjoyment for soul. MAY ALLAH SWT PROTECT AND GUIDE US ALL. The most effective things that in my perpective are necessary in todays era for a person to get protected from sinful acts are: 1: A person should have a company of a shaykh a murabbi that has the ijazat from any one from four orders of tasawwuf or all. 2: Fasting.

I really have no words. MashaAllah, JazakAllah for this amazing discussion. Being a woman I can also relate to this issue as I have also struggled with this in my teens. It takes a part if you away and some parts of and leaves you broken. Even after so many years the images haunt me even though I was Alhumdulillah not an addict. It's soo sad that people are okay with having a gf/bf at a young age when they are just a college going student but feel shame to get nikah done when they are 20-23 . Our society has made nikah extremely difficult. It is has become soo difficult to protect one's chastity until marriage. The age of doing nikah is increasing day by day.Nikah was supposed to protect our chastity and help us protect our gaze and build a better future, but sadly it has been reduced to mere formality.

Mera personal advice hai ke namaz ki pabandi karein bahut sakhti se pabandi karein Allah bhi 21 para me farmaye ke beshak namaz behayi Or buri chizo se rokti hai.

May ALLAH bless you Ali Bhai, when you talked about emotional reasons & anger or fight etc. could be one of the reasons - you surely spoke the truth. Shaytan awaits our weak moments where it can misguide us & emotional trauma, that too from our loved ones could be a key moment where Shaytan could take over and push you off the edge.

I have no problem if my husband goes for multiple marriages, so is the case with my sons, as I being an individual should sacrifice my comfort to facilitate the women of Muslim ummah.... Alhamdulillah.....

I am a psychologist and Homoepathic physician practicing since 22 yrs.
