I hope everything is well with the pregnancy, and god bless you for sharing your knowledge in these trying times, I'm new to the industry, but I'm holding my own so far, but I've really enjoyed your video's, because they have really give some confidence to carry on in the locksmithing world, I would appreciate being able to tap in to your knowledge if I ever get stuck

Thanks for the positive feedback pal and everything is fine with the wife and baby thanks for asking ❤️ I try and make videos as honest as I can because some jobs are gonna test you to the limit and it can feel like a very lonely place when you’re sat there on your own at door wondering what the fuck to do next

Lol u crack me up good watch I deal with Chubb’s all the time pain in the backside Tell me I had a callout Friday tenant locked in her property Yale 77 latch jammed key would not turn couldn’t slip it in the end got in through kitchen window undone 3 screws on the 77 and managed to pull the door open My question is wot would u do in this situation? Drill
@FortressLocksmiths

Faulty nightlatches are a pain in the fucking ass, especially ones that have deadlocked by a dropped snib. In that situation if I’m replacing the lock anyway I drill 2 6mm holes aiming for the retaining screws and twist the cylinder out, then I’d use a thick flat head and try and force the bolt, if that didn’t work I’d drill into the case and then try and retract with a screwdriver. But if it’s a backplate like you had with the 3 screws visible then just undo them and pull it off the door .

Hey mate, great videos. Just a quick question. My Chubb Rep here in Australia calls the Curtain a Thrower and went on to tell me the difference. Have you come across this in the UK PS. Good luck with your missus and bubs.
