Hi Vijeta! Hope you're doing well. I'll be moving to Australia soon. I've received admits from UniSA, Deakin and LaTrobe and will be choosing one of the first two universities. I am a mass communication bachelor's holder but will be getting into an MBA Finance. Though I've done three internships under wedding photographers, the experience would be quite irrelevant. Therefore I will be doing entry-level jobs. I am trying to understand the prospects for freshers and particularly curious about the kind of jobs people with no experience get into. Thanks you so much Vijeta Can you pls guide the career coach to get the job in Adelaide. We have got 489 in Oct2019 and are currently working with IT MNCs in Mumbai but challenged with a plan on shift with kids. Your guidance would immensely help.

What is also to consider and especially if you are moving to Adelaide or small town in Australia is what is your background, if you are white in most cases you will get the job easily and if you are not then you will get the job more difficult and also slightly less paid. Maybe Sydney and Melbourne might be different, but generally the colour plays its role as well. Australia has different discriminatory policies in place however the reality is different. Just my personal observation.

Technology is needed everywhere so I am sure you will have options but yeah have heard these occupations doing better in Syd or Mel . Having said that , if your visa needs you to be in Adelaide then you would have to explore your options there . Goodluck

As always :) I have a 489 visa valid till 2023 ... had almost booked the tickets in March for travelling in June to Adelaide, when Covid struck all over ... so am waiting for better times n also wondering what complications would arise in getting jobs (coz of stressed economy of most nations) once I reach Adelaide. Now that's one profile, I havnt met people of but maybe that's because most of these profiles would be in the regional parts of Adelaide away from the city. I know agriculture is big there so you may want to research on jobs in the countryside or regional
