    Fried fish is nice but using a lot of oil that oil is wasted so I seldom fried.. Thanks Ah Pa. I like your cooking channel as also a person who likes home cooked food..👍😀

    Hi Ah Pa, once again thank you for sharing this with us, you are amazing, just a matter of interest, how do you dispose your used cooking oil? In UK they always advised people not to throw it down the sink or bagged them in plastic bag (once its cooled down) either. So i tend not to deep fry as much here. Hope to hear back from you Ah Pa.     Hi ah pa greetings to u...I just called it ikan kesisik in malay but I do not knw it called money fish..nice name....my mom teach me to put some salt at tat oil to avoid frm fish splatter n oso it's may easy to turned it....tis fish oso very tasty n oso can cook any kind of recipe like rendang ,sambal ,lemak ciliapi ,sambal tumis n oso so many...ah pa if u don't mind y don't u share us hw to cook sambal in ur style plsssss.....tis is my humble request...love u ah pa👍

    Fish must be bone dry; you can salt it and use some flour (optional). Used oil - filter it and it will be clean for reuse.

    canola oil is the best, as it has a high smoking point and little taste which may spoil the original taste of the fish

    I think stainless steel wok is not usually user-friendly when it comes to frying unless it is very well-seasoned or with lots of oil . I've seen chefs swirling oil in a hot wok...then removing the oil.....and then putting in oil again before frying . Less oil is used....ha, not sure if it works . What say you, sir?

    The ones u saw when chinese cuisine chefs swirling the oil, those r carbon steel wok, not stainless steel wok. Easiest for us is to use non-stick wok to deep fry.

    Try putting abit of tamarind into oil .Fish and bean curd wont stick to pan.leave tamarind in oil until finish frying.

    Don't you think it's not very practical, so much oil for so little fish. So is it advisable to reuse the oil next time or just dispose it. Tq

    Ah Pa when frying fish just before putting the fish into the pan, sprinkle some flour or corn flour into the hot oil and you will notice that the fish does not stick to the pan.

    that much talk to just put the fish in to the pan. unfreaking real, can't i stay that long to see what's happening, Time waste
