Couple hints from Farmers Market set up: - Heavy duty clips are helpful if it's windy. - Label bins so it's easy to know contents, especially if others help you pack up. Great ideas, Deanna! Thanks for sharing! From Cheryl in AZ

Great video! I miss my craft fair days! I loved doing them. I also always had sunscreen for my outdoor booth and chapstick. Even overcast skies can cause a burn. And don’t underprice your items, they will give the impression that they are cheaply made. I’m looking forward to more of these! You’re going to do great!

I sign up for our community center's craft fair. You have to be a resident to sell and items have to be hand made. Two days for $15.00 so you can't beat that! Time does fly and I need to start creating what is on my list. Pricing is hard,, but I I figure what I don't sell will be family, friends and coworkers Christmas gifts! Hope you do well in yours 💖

Thank you for the great information. I have a few questions: do you charge tax? And do you need a vendor license? Also, I'd love to hear you talk about your first craft show experience, like how you got the gumption to do it!

Hi Deanna! So I’m planning on doing my first craft fair in early December. (It’s indoors) When I looked at the application form, they had different options to check of what I wanted: 10x10, 10x20, tables, chairs, etc. The 10x10 was listed at $350! That seems rather expensive to me, but again I’ve never done this before so what do I know. Lol. A table was listed at $25. Chairs were another fee. Seems like I’ll be spending more money to just attend this thing than what I’ll be taking in. From your experience, does this seem pretty typical? Also, they asked for my tax ID number. I don’t have one since again, I’ve never done this before. I wouldn’t even know how to get one. Lol. I tried calling them for more info, help, etc. but it was after 5 pm and nobody answered. I did leave a message and I’ll try tomorrow. Any advice you can offer I would so appreciate it. Thanks!
