Headsets are optional but I recommend it if you are in a space that may be noisy, even an air conditioner can be enough to disturb your sound and affect the outcome of your interview. My camera is mirroring my classroom background, so my name and the palfish logo do not read correctly. Hi Mandy! Congrats on your interview! Your camera view is a mirror but it plays correctly on replay and it looks correct for the student. Yes, it is the same, If you did your interview after August 2020. I think that's when it changed to the new format. You may see older versions on KZread, including my own. I love the new animated version. It is so much more engaging for the students. 😀👏💕

80% to pass. Review and try again as many times as you like. You can receive points and certificates until midnight managing time March 11th. They are videos only to watch, so they are not recorded. It is designed to help improve your teaching in your classes to help the students improve.

No. It automatically starts recording at the time you have set. As long as you turn up when it actually starts recording, that is fine to change it.

Practice in front of a mirror or imagine the student is a child in your life such as your son or daughter or your niece or nephew or a student you have taught in the past. Give them my name and make them real to you. It takes time to learn to feel comfortable in front of the camera whether it’s a practice lesson or a real student. 😊 Once you are very familiar with the material and the slides you will feel less awkward. Preparation is definitely the key. Do not rush booking in your interview. If you need more time to practice schedule it for a later date. Trial classes can be booked up to 2 hours prior. Keep an eye on your schedule and you can look in the lesson preparations to see what the slides and the class will be about. Once you get regulars, they are booked 24 hours ahead to 14 days ahead. All of my regulars are now scheduled in 14 days ahead. 😀👍 Send me a message in the App to ask for the Zoom Meeting ID so you can join us every Tuesday.

Teach for pf1 and pf2, is it okay not to wear headset or is it okay that the background is noisy? I have finished my pf1 and I got passed having 87.5/100 and I can observe that there is no recording for this one. Is it really okay?

Headphones are optional but if you have a noisy background it is best to wear headphones to block out of the noise around you so the student can hear you well and to avoid any complaints from parents. The PF1 and PF2 Lesson Preparations can be seen on your profile page. Me... Profile... Classroom video You can choose one if you would like to leave it on display for parents to see from the Kids App.

Certificate of nationality (Eg: driver's license, social security card, birth certificate) 2. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/TKT certificate 3. English pronunciation must be standard Salary range: 52-70/h (RMB)

I have watched your video so many times because I really thought it was the best example of getting your demo down pat. But today I failed my Palfish demo and I am really disappointed. I even wrote your script down word for word and practiced for days.
