I have to admit, I'm kind of surprised that it wasn't more crowded around "Starry night". Other masterpieces we've seen seem to come with a crowd too big to get a selfie with them (i.e. Mona Lisa).

Adventure Everywhere Thanks for watching! It was pretty great to be able to get so close to “Starry night.” It was crowded, but not nearly as crowded as it can be around works of that magnitude. Which was awesome!

For me, if have limited time, I would prefer to see something I haven’t seen. We are inundated with Starry Night in mainstream media why waste time going to look at it when there are thousands of other amazing artists’ work I haven’t seen?

Great video, we missed out on the MoMA when we were in New York in 2015, we were there 5 days but just ran out of time, could've done with the tips especially the 5th floor! We hope to return one day so we'll keep this in mind. 👍🔔

Haha, "live in the moma" Great tips for visiting. I wouldn't have thought to start on the 5th floor. :) I think I would rather pay and enjoy it with less people but still great to know.

Good question! We've seen Rothko paintings in a few places now, MOMA, Tate and Pompidou, and it's probably because his paintings evoke a certain vibe or style that triggers warm emotions. They just feel good, if that makes sense. At the Tate there is a whole Rothko room that's enjoyable to just sit and soak.
