Best tip for vendors, do not do what the person who posted this video did. Do not hide a vendor somewhere in your camp just to get the V on the map. Nobody wants to go through your shelter, and another loading screen, just to see what useless things you have for sale. Put your vendor upfront, easy to see and near your camp spawn in point. Its bad enough having to wait for the game to spawn your camp fully in. Do not make someone go through another loading screen or make them have to spend a minute running around your camp just to find your vendor. I guarantee you that if you do either of those most people will just fast travel away.

this, if i have to go into your shelter to get to the vendor...you better believe i'm just opening map & jumping to the next camp.

Exactly I was about to comment this. Shit is goofy
The extra stash weight is far more valuable to me than making a few caps, so I just keep dumping my extra stuff in the donation box.
I like putting up the vault boy posters that point towards the vendor
I’ll buy some thing from someone’s camp if they really put hard work into their camp. Like if you have a dope camp, I will buy something just out of respect
If you put your shop in a shelter, Im moving on immediately. Too many venders to waste time on that.

@@Naughtious.Maximusno, you need to have one outside to make it appear. Don’t place one in your vault bc no one will see it and no one is going in to check it
If I can’t find the vendor in 30 seconds I move on to the next camp ❤

@@TheBlondDaemonmy biggest gripe with the game is plans and not being able to drop junk to decorate. Then I have to use a chessboard to display? It’s hard to make a good base early on and I am thankful for the people selling regular plans for 50-200 caps. Better than Whitesprings/vendors and way better than the people selling them 1 cap less than NPC vendors.
DO NOT put your vendor in your shelter we are not going to go through the effort to see your half ass shelter even if the shop is stocked to the brim...we already have to fast travel loading screen to and from your base don't give us another one to get into your shelter to be disappointed by your shop.
Personally, I list any and all ammo at 1 cap, fusion cores up to 50 caps (-15 caps per 25% charge missing), but the main thing I sell is legendary items. Here’s the thing, I sell them based on scrip, so for weapons I sell them for 25 caps per star and 15 caps per star for armor (unless they’re REALLY good rolls, then I’d sell them for about 500-2000 caps).
@mrman4358

I know I could be getting significantly more caps for stuff I sell but I don’t care. I get so many legendaries from expeditions that it doesn’t matter.
Where you place your module determines where you spawn in at camp; it'll drop you in about 20ft north of where you put it. Use this to have people land within eyeshot of your vendor

That's good to know. Makes sense why I was basically floating on spawn for my floating view camp 😂
I often consider the prices in player stores just plain theft, even the higher level players. I started about a week ago and currently level 62 and managed to get about 7k caps, theres no chance im gonna spent 1,5k on a single item or plan and thats what I would guess were there less rare items. Those players that sell items between 50 to 150 caps are the real mvps. I even started selling duplicate plans for 25 caps, no more no less to help out anyone else that happens to need them. Excess junk is free as I only keep about 5lbs in weight in junk, cores 50 caps and any legendary weapons that I would consider using if I was build for at most 250 caps the rest either gets scrapped or sold. Honestly wish most players were more reasonable with their prices.
We are mostly selling serums for under 500 caps to encourage new players to all have mutations. There are many out there for 180 caps each.❤

Low serum vendors helped me as a new player !
I wish vender didn't share storage with your stash
You can have high prices if two conditions are met. First, vendor visible from fast travel, no inside a building up the stairs after the nuka themed sex dungeon, definitely not in a shelter. Secondly, ammo for a cap. I’ll buy your 750 cap marsupial serum if I load in and see your vendor right away and you have what I want. I don’t want to play mall madness window shopping, I want to play fallout.

I understand what you’re saying, but in fallout, you have to actually look around and find things when you arrive at a new location. If somebody spent a lot of time in effort on their camp, you should look around as if it was a new discovered location. You should marvel at the creativity and give the creator a thumbs up. I’ve seen lots of fantastic camps in the game. a spaceship, a giant robot, underground camps. I stop and take pictures. Why are you in a hurry?

@@laxpaint An awesome camp will have easy to use services and interesting or fun design. Depending on a gimmick to get people to look at your camp is a sure sign your camp is not worthy of looking at.

Because some people don’t care how a base looks :p I can take a look at the base in some cases, but I also check the vendor and travel to the next one sometimes. And like stated earlier; A well designed base should have the vendor easy accessible. That will also encourage people to take a look, as they aren’t annoyed having to run around looking for the vendor. I’ve looked way to long for some, since the vendors have so many different skins.

That’s why I just leave my vendor right in front of my entrance to my camp
Thanks for the vid! 😊
great video again man! I didn't know 40k caps is the max we're allowed to have at once
Thanks, there were quite a few things I learned there.
Main part of the game is to explore, when I go to a players camp I explore all of it. I love building and I love looking at peoples creations. I dont mind when they put the shop on the shelter just make it visble
New player, level 30. I have a vendor. It is mostly ammo types I don't use, armor, and guns that beginner players get, and some extra purified water and stim packs. Is it even worth having a vendor at my level? Is there any pop up or notification when you log on that says someone made a purchase from your site? Or do you just have to remember your stock or caps? (My site is on the road and Public is set to on). I can't remember how I knew, I think I saw ammo for sale disappearing. I ran out and gave the guy a heart emoji. The only time I know of a customer. Thanks

I’m only level 60 and I think it’s worth it! I actually made my first sale today (it was a rug plan) and I was away from my camp but got the caps added notification on my screen saying someone bought the plan. Even when people don’t buy anything it’s just fun to see someone stop by my camp :) Also your camp is only online/on a server when you are so you don’t have to track anything since it’s impossible for people to shop from your vendor when you’re offline!
One thing that could be utilized to keep from going over the cap limit is a coded power switch in line with the vending machine. Just shut them off if you're about to max out.
I started playing 2-3 weeks ago and I recently started using the vendors and made a considerable amount of caps, I sell things half the price or even lower.
@jamesphillips3135

Same on all of that, started about then and it’s nice to do that. I’ve been to insane vendors where lit stoogie, teddy bear, plans were all 10K-40k then the angels where it’s 50-100 caps for item plans then reasonable 2-3k for gun plans. So I make sure to have a couple things for real cheap as well.
Cool advice for making caps. I’d love to see a video that has advice for newer players that might be struggling to spend caps, people who are reaching the 40k limit and haven’t yet figured out how to best use all those caps. I’ve seen players mention buying ‘trash’ 3* legendaries and then scriping them, but would be great to know about more useful ways to spend. Keep up the great work
@standard6502

That's prolly the smartest thing to do honestly. Buy the cores to roll legendaries, then buy the bulk junk and roll legendaries to sell and or use. Rinse and repeat
@jamesphillips3135

Is that how you make caps, because I got to 10k once and haven’t reached it since. But I am buying plans since I can’t f*cking drop things for decoration and I have to have plans
Very useful tips, thx !!
Another tip I'd put two vendors right next to eachother to avoid people having to wait for the last person to finish browsing... if your lucky enough to have 2 visitors at your shop simultaneously it sucks to lose a potential sale because they don't want to wait for the previous person to finish. I've got like 5 vendors in my camp lol two at each entrance and one in my crafting room by my stash box
Things in my vendor atm. Random good legendary weapons from events; ie good first star on a weapon people would actually use. Crafted legendary Fixers with a good 1 star effect. Prices either 333, 420, 666, or 777. Bobbleheads, comic books, and cheap chems. Will eventually start selling mutations.
If i care not about god rolls. What is a good base price for 1 2 and 3 star legendaries. Like 100c a star? I just want consistency. Like what is a good cap to scrip ratio for that?
@dontblink8397
14 күн бұрын
Most people do 100 a star for scrip items, but I would still check them before you put them up, god rolls wasted are caps not gained yk
I made my first sale a couple days ago from two level 20s buying some weapons
I tend to sell plans for a tenth of their suggested price. Really common ones for a cap. Obvious exceptions are things like Fixer plans, which I bought for 3.5k just before I had them drop, so I recouped my caps on them and it sold pretty fast. I find it irritating to fast travel to a camp and find, for example, the piano plans selling for 100 caps...Won't bother looking at the rest of the stuff on sale then....
One thing I’ve noticed every time when I go to another players vender is they have the chem table plan for sale
Why and when is okay to list same items at different prices??? I heard its partyl do to overflow of that items or any so they cant really remember?
12:50 i like having 3 vendors minimum as then when you are updating your vendors 2 players can still shop...
I wouldnt really recommend selling 5mm. I sell Flamer fuel for 2 caps and fusion cores if I have too many usually between 40-50 caps, missles 40mm grenades will also sell decently

I just toss all the ammo i dont want in the red gift boxes so other players can get them for free.
@xtoxictrooperx8619

Anyone who buys flamer fuel for 2 caps a pop should be banned from the game 😂
A good tip for helping players out is selling any bobbleheads/magazines you dont need/want. Collectors will always buy them if they need them and its a good way to help other players finish collectoons. I usually chuck them up for 10c each. You can also sell legendaries dirt cheap if you reach your daily scrip limit or you dont want them. Ive seen people buy a couple of mine i had for about 50c each and immediately hit up a station to scrap them.

I try to remember their name, especially when they’re a G and have decorative/item plans for real cheap. I hate that I can’t drop things to decorate and use a chessboard it’s insane
Why the hell has Bethesda not made the vendor have its own stash weight? It just makes sense, especially when players have constantly had storage problems
@Slaikkarinaj

That would be good, but if it had a weight limit similar to the 1200 of stash box it would just end up mostly filled with scrap going for ridiculous price because of extra storage.
I put guass rifle rounds in for 2 caps each and it sold all right away but maybe I was just lucky
what's a good way to start playing 76
I’ve had mole miner gauntlets sell for 5. It’s slow but idk
A comment since shelters are pvp areas I don't enter them even for buying things. So don't recommend putting your vender in your selling unit in shelter. Also think about would I buy this item, if no probley not a good idea to try to sell the item, or sell the item real cheap. Good luck all.
I Sell mini nukes for 10 caps... can't keep them in stock... lol micro fusion and plasma 1 each bit of a grind , but they sell quick.
3 min load time? I play on a tablet via cloud and I load fine.

I play on PC but takes like 3 seconds.
I wish you could upgrade your stash size
Great tips... however I think putting the vendor inside the shelter is not a good idea. I personally get annoyed when I visit a CAMP and I can't find the vendor anywhere. I may have missed a few vendors because I walked around a three-floor camp and didn't see the vending machine. Honestly I didn't even know it could be placed inside a shelter.
15:04 im sorry but if a player is max capped and is not looking for sales then they should turn off there public icon instead of being lazy and causing someone with legendary lockpick to get a bounty cause they fast traveled to your publicly displayed base, seen the vendor thru the window and was coming to see if you had something like bulk gears, and was not considering that someone displayed as a vendor may have the door locked not only that they wasted the caps to fast travel to you on the chance you had what they wanted for a ok price
If a vendor is behind a locked door, odds are that player is near or at max caps and doesn't want you buying anything.

found a guy selling stimpaks for 1c a piece the other day, bought the lot lol. also some ppl are RIDICULOUS on prices, ive seen mfs trying to get 300 for fusion cores lmao i sell them for 20c fully charged
Besides hiding you vender putting it in a shelter would be the worst thing you could do, You did both.
