One of my great-grandmothers had a garden in front of her little home where some of the flowers were higher than my head. I remember following the swept white sand path to the front porch bisecting the yard. The flowers included whatever Maw had found or been given: cosmos, roses, hollyhocks, zinnias, gladiolas, phlox, bridal wreath, amaryllis, narcissii, daffodils, daylilies, pansies, iris, and many others. Something was always flowering except in coldest wintet. The border was edged with big rocks and sunken bottles, and there was a bottle tree. My best memories are in that place!

Love that phrase! Imperfect! I mix up perennials, veggies and flowers or herbs… the diversity is so important to our pollinators. Laminating the packages.. Remember putting them over a stack til the first rain…? Thank you. 😊

Looking forward to making the clay garden markers. Simple enough to make with the air dry clay. Great idea! Thanks Allen!

I love your idea about the daffodils. So many people have a conniption about seeing the dying foliage lol!

I mixed flowers and vegetables in my raised bed garden this year. I love the tunnel! I’ll have to try to make one!
