You can always find them online!! google and usually schools will have them!

I also majored in Korean studies and tried to fullfill my experiences so i could look good lol i also did internships in the korean studies center of my country (i was a research assitant) i participated in seminars, symposium, conferences, and i got an scholarship to develop my thesis in korea!! im still not fluent in korean tho lol but one of the reasons to do my phd in korean studies is because i'll be able to keep having korean language classes. I'll apply next year to gks!

Heey, I am very interested in going to Korea to study the Korean language. I am currently on level 4 for TOPIK but I still hVe 2 years of my BA left so I surely hVe enough time left to study more until then. Hi Jo! Thank you for yet another informative video! My undergraduate uni in the UK doesn’t operate on a GPA ranking or go by an official GPA scale conversion. While the uni can provide me with a letter to confirm that a GPA isn’t available for my undergrad results, I’m still unsure about how I should fill up my yearly academic results in the application form - my main concern being that although a 70+ is considered a First Class Honours in the UK (equivalent to a ~3.9+/4.0 GPA or a ~98+ on GKS’ 100-points scale), without proper context a 70+ might look low relative to other applicants whose academic results are based on GKS’ 100-points scale....and I wouldn't wanna risk NIIED/the admissions officers getting the wrong impression 😅 Just wondering if you/Anthony may know of GKS scholars (especially from the UK) who have had similar experiences? I’d love to know how they went about this! Thank you~ 💖

Anthony said this!! there is an official gpa scale that converts either to the 4.3 scale or the 4.5 scale, your uni should have an official conversion scale. i just went to my department and asked for an official conversion and they printed me a letter giving me all my grades and first class actually converts to an almost full gpa. your uni will definitely know because exchanges happen from the uk to countries that use gpa all the time so i'd ask again

Thanks sooo much for the prompt response! I saw the FAQ below on my uni's webpage and I guess I panicked a little... "Can you convert my marks to a GPA? No. Durham University does not operate a GPA ranking and does not have an agreed GPA scale. We can provide a letter to confirm that a GPA is not available." But I'll definitely try to put in an official request with my uni again, thanks for this! 😊

Hi. I want to ask,how can I fill the CGPA/ Score Percentile? My exam results are in percentage and i already use the GPA converter to fill the grades based on my high school results (just like how my Korean embassy told me) but i don’t know how can I get the CGPA and Score pencentile.

If our transcript shows percentage which is different than the score percentile that you get after converting in scholaro.. which should be used to fill in the score percentile section of application? My cgpa is in 10 point scale and when convert in scholaro the score percentile is different than the percentage mentioned in the transcript for the converted grade out of 4.0 cgpa.

1) yes 2) no, because you can’t choose a major that lasts more then 4 years and medicine does. 3) if you have topik 5/6 you don’t have to but if you don’t have it (even though you can speak korean) you can’t skip the study program

Yes, you have to search the universities that have this carrer, but keep in mind that for undergraduate programs the announcement of the scholarship starts in September.

i don’t think you can study anything that lasts more than 4 years in total. so if your major is under or up to 4 years you should be fine applying :) (also check the gks notice university information and see if your major is available)
