No the decoy grunt will not be shiny unless theres a bug or glitch. But still worth trying worst case you get good IV shadow with magical leaf.

@@Survivalist-of-warActually, Shiny Shadow Bellsprout is actually available now since Arlo had it so you can get it from the decoy grunts, it just isn’t that shiny boosted.

@@Survivalist-of-war yeah, they’re not as boosted as the leaders are but last year they began to bring Pokémon the leaders had to grunts and turned on the shiny eligibility. There’s proof on KZread.

Only good thing is the stardust. I already have 10 of these Shinies! ✨🌿

@@pogotrnr tbh the Community Day Events this year have been meh. Only good ones are Rowlet, Litten, and Bagon. And mostly because they're new/cool Shinies or meta relevant. Blissey was already good in gyms it didn't need that move. It should've gotten Egg Bomb instead. Porygon-Z was never that useful. And Victreebel would maybe be good in PVP.

The event is x3 catch stardust not hatch, did i miss something?

Isn't the 3x startdust only for catching? Hatching 12x12k eggs would only get the 1.5x starpiece bonus, not the 4.5x you get for catching with a starpiece. Still a good boost, but it's not getting you several hundred thousand stardust...

so will a grassy lure spawn bellsprout? also will the 4 star egg spawns after the comday still have 3x dust?

I think it would be better to use a regular lure for Bellsprout because the mossy lure will pull some mossy lure specific spawns too. It won’t have 3x catch dust after 5pm unfortunately
