Right, first attempt at a wood spirit, and I’m some what pleased with it so far, still got eyes, details to nose and hair etc to finish, Kutzall Burr jumped off the wood and across the back of my middle finger, just took a little skiin off, but you have to learn, it won’t happen again, lmao.

Hello Jordy! Thank you for the video! It just appeared on time, because today I carved a person's face out of wood, and the result was not quite what I would like to see. And I didn’t want to finish it, but just throw this blank away, but after listening to you, I decided to finish it!)) Your optimism is transmitted to other people! I posted one of your videos (where you make a ghost with a chainsaw) on my page on the VK social network, and gave a link to your KZread channel! 👋

Hey Jordy, I love your artistic approaching and view... I do carving as well (for enjoyment ... and for many friends) and I tried all kind of tools and I can recommend you to try Mastercarver (from Amazon or carve shop) with micro motor. An advantage is you can regulate speed and direction of rotation what eliminate problem cutting opposite to grains ( in my case using diamond burs it is matter of smooth cuts - for example for gun stock carving) . I like carve to maple, bubinga, walnut .... it is very hard working with oiling wood like ebony , purple heart, bubinga, ... but no impossible . Keep doing your great educational videos !

I like this spirit alot it's got a real old look & feel to it. ..Ummm..did I just describe myself there?🤔🤣😂 I agree 100% that flame burr likes to be run full blast especially on the drag, float and feather when needed with lighter touch. That crazy little football burr chews wood like a pissed off beaver 🤣😂🤣😂✌🎨🎨🎨😁

From watching your videos and carving my first 3 pieces, I definitely need to carve deeper and deeper as you showed here again and on your other videos. As for the coffee spill, (which totally sucks) perhaps you need a coffee thermos (with the Carving Fusion logo on it!) - I bring mine out to the shop; keeps the coffee hot and there's less shavings in it! I love the Kutzall Extreme Burrs - have 3 and my new 1/4" sphere arrives today - thank you for always explaining what burrs you're using - so helpful!
