So far in my experience the ppl who score a lot just abuse game mechanics. Try to play realistically youll just get your ass beat

@@LizardSkinaye mate, but keep playing, keep smashing stick, more you loose the more you learn, it’s a fast paced game, oh played 23 and 24 just vs comp on semi pro. Now trying online it’s nice when you play someone on your level. Not 3 v1 or 2v1 or just some random that has no actual life

angle breakaway is alot harder this year and yes backhanded is key this year so far..

Okay but my question is how do you swoop from side to side like that first Deke you showed when I hit the stick left and right he just does a stupid puck handle but he doesn't sweeps from side to side and score ...do I have to hold L1 or do I have to hold something else at the same time to do that deke??

When I do it I just use the stick, i’ve heard if you’re not on skill stick controls it’s a little harder to do that

Im not at hardcore nhl player finally got good at 23 then the whole movement system gets changed

@@Corbett21 starting to like it more was never good at the skill stuff usually basic stuff so tougher learning curve for me this year. I miss the hitting because that would also bail me out in eashl and three lol

Does any one no what the easiest controls is if you use NHL 94 controls for an X box one . Just downloaded game and don't really know how to play . If you could send me a link for a video on x box controls for this game would be very helpful .

This game is so jank. Playing anything higher than pro the cpu goes balls to the wall always crushes you and pass through everything but you can never hit them or make a pass let alone score

Nhl 2001 was peak nhl. All the rest is to fucking complicated

Worst chel ever made. I've played since 92, but these days play mainly EASHL with my boys. I'm a RD and I love the deep freeze class. It was like that class was made just for me by EA, but my forwards having been having a rough go of it. The dump mechanics are absolute garbage, making the puck seem like it weighs 5 pounds. The one button specialty moves have made this year of NHL the most "participation trophy" game ever made. Just appealing to scrubs that were never good.

I do the second one on my dad a lot and toe drag like 2 seconds
