Met a team of griefers the other day. One was over lvl 50, the other 2 were under. Saw them killing fresh newbies and taking their loot. 😡

A high level player stole my deathloot after I died to some mines a couple of days ago. I saw it while on the «press space to respawn» screen. It was probably jusy junk and scraps, but still 🤷‍♂️

If you're ever on PlayStation and see the "Free Water & Cheap Ammo" camp, stop on by! Fallout has a great community, I jump on to take a break from Apex and just kind of hand out free purified waters - just sitting on my porch and enjoying Appalachian Radio.

Just got back into fallout 76 on pc after not playing since around release on Xbox. So glad I did, this game has come a very long way, when compared to the buggy battle royal days.. Great video and tips.

Makes sense. The more people enjoying playing means the OG guys get more people to do events with, trade etc

Only issue ive had.. comminucation is a bit difficult but otherwise. Somedude accidentally blew me up during event. Left my stuff alone though, besides that. I think i found my new addiction. Anyone wanna help a noob?

Im not a new player but the last time i played was when it first came out. I think i played for a month or 2. I just got back into it last week. Apparently i was level 140 and i have no clue what to do

No free handouts on the servers I were😅 It's pretty tough, but worth struggling it out on my own.

If you're on PC, I have tons of materials, ammo, and what not. Stuff that's just being hoarded or I can create more of. I keep plans and things cheap in my store, I save most legendary items for scrip to reroll old weapons but even most of those I throw in at a default price

@user-kx2hu4vf1y I keep all ammo at just 1 cap for the stuff I don't use otherwise I end up just looking for ways to get rid of it. You can convert it which is useful or fallout 1st has an ammo locker now I think. As for plans and weapons, if it's a common plan, I sell it for cheap for new players, for less common, I tend to go up and down a bit depending how long I've had it for sale. Only thing I ever put for over 2k caps are rare outfits or good legendary gear.

@user-kx2hu4vf1y My best sellers are Nuka Cola(10 caps) actually, fusion cores, (100 caps), and probably .45 ammo(1 cap). Usually someone comes by and gets a stack for 100-200 caps

The only ammo that really sells consistently is .45 and maybe 5.56 on ps anyway. Some legendaries will not sell. Scrap everything you do need or use.

Shotgun builds are good. And lazer and energy just got a buff a while back

You don’t need to find cores if you have a recharge station for them

going to the map does not pause the game

Just started playing and it's amazing But first day did encounter a high level player that wasn't so kind as you say on the video I took one of those control places T-bar you can harvest stuff and he came by and killed me, yelling "get out of here trash" Made me think it wasn't really the most friendly community and more like a toxic place...

Ps5 servers like road warrior....I think only pc got the nice guys

I only been playing a few weeks but one thing you guys all say in these videos is join events. I personally found events completely a waste of time and a massive waste of ammo. half time people don't even show up, and i am not talking about the random events all over the map but the yellow public ones. For example i did the one with the plant flower thing that is in the swamp and keeps spawning mobs in waves before you can damage it, not only did i waste 1000 bullets but 2 other low levels with me we couldn't complete it, i got 0 reward, 0 compensation and i had to go grinding a long time to get new bullets again to continue my playthrough, hours wasted for nothing. And this isn't the only event. I've had many events in which i did have a high level with us help complete, but still got 0 reward for it. Out of maybe 2 dozen public events i've tried, only got a reward from maybe 3-4 of them. it's a joke. Why do you people in these videos continue to recommend this to low levels? In my experience it's not worth even bothering until you are a high level and can practically solo them. I was starting to assume it's due to game being dead now and hardly any players. I don't see a lot of players on the map typically but you posted this 3 days ago, so either your posting out-dated info by copy pasting same tips in a 100 other videos, or there is something I am missing that isn't being explained in these videos. Your first video i seen actually recommend power armor at low level. I been avoiding it entirely since i can't craft it and have no access to fusion cores. In fact i just learned that to be able to make and modify power armor i have to complete a level 25 quest which i am doing now at level 40. Odd that your suggestion low levels to use power armor. And buying from player camps has been no good for me, they never have anything useful, only a few things here and there but nothing like fusion cores. I am starting to wonder, is this game just dead on PC? Are you guys playing on consoles or something?

theres like 40 different even type, some arent even worth it hence nobody joining them and the point of events as a low lvl is not to solo them but take advantage of the xp and loot dros to sell or scrap

@@marcelk.2230 I wish these videos game more detail in which ones you should join. Only reason i have problems with ammo running pistols is because of so many failed events consuming all my ammo with 0 reward. I stopped doing events to conserve my ammo. but i am working on getting the escavator power armor now and hopefully ammo will be less a problem once i can produce the ammo i need along with the ammo perks. then i'd be more willing to try more events. But i wonder why they keep saying in these videos over and over again for newbies to join these events hey can't possibly beat themselves and no one is joining to help except for a couple of them. The arena one for example is the only event i see sometimes doable but even then usually no one shows up, last night it was only me and one other guy there and we just let the timer expire to start, no point in us starting at low level since we'd be wasting ammo and time. It's a shame. most MMO's events are so fun to do, but in this game they are not as you only get a reward if you beat it and they are too hard with no one ever joining

@@zengrath I feel you, events shouldnt even be attempted, until lvl 50, for now focus on the main quest line as you still get a generous amount of loot, try use a interactive fallout map for specific loot spots, maybe when you're a few levels up, give it a go on events, but also, make sure when you see a new event, you keep an eye on the surrounding players, sometiles there will be alot of players gathered on the blip on the map, thats how u know its a good event, just follow in, you dont need to try and kill anything, let the high lvls do it and get your reward, u can also just tag enemies, for like 1 hp, and aslong as u tag them, if someone kills them you still get the loot

Ok so I’ve been playing for 4 years, and weirdly atm the servers are not filled with high level players like they usually are. I don’t want this to sound rude or come off wrong as trust me almost all players in this game are willing to help but I think because of the HUGE numbers of new players coming from the tv show it has kind of tipped the balance where now I’m finding one high player has to carry an entire event, ok, not a problem for most of us, but some high level players don’t have the builds to solo all events, or some events really do need a little teamwork, as it’s usually a bunch of high levels stomping all the events, and honestly some high levels don’t even bother to do event objectives as they don’t care - they’ve done the event a million times but just want a few legendaries and Xp. I think what will happen is that when all the newbies are around level 100 and more solid with their builds the high level players will come back. Also, as much as I don’t mind giving a few freebies I don’t want to hand hold new players every day, the early game is far better if you saviour the experience by doing all the quests. The public events are just end game loop when you’ve exhausted the main story quests. I will say though, I did enjoy taking down the queen with like 10 newbies frantically trying to stay alive.. One thing as well which I’m finding a little irritating but obviously can’t be helped is that low levels on teams are usually not mutated and then my usual buffs from strange in numbers isn’t kicking in which is making things a little tricky at times and there aren’t other high players on my team sharing better perk cards. But as I say, can’t be helped. Though I am sharing scrapper for the newbies, as that’s helpful. The overall point I’m making is, the servers will stable out shortly and the game isn’t dead, it’s just going through a weird phase, as usually only a handful of new players would join over a day or two, and people would flock to help them, atm there are just way too many new players if that makes sense. One more thing, there is always way more people online when there is a seasonal event or the first few weeks of a new season.

@@fivenotewonder Ok, good to know it's due to the influx of new players probably. A lot of them in events are my level and lower. I'll try to keep an eye out for events with a lot of yellow dots otherwise don't bother. For now I am enjoying just playing the game normally and doing quests, i have plenty. I was just getting frustrated not being able to do much damage in events and not enough people showing up to help in many of them. I'm now 47 and working forwards a pistol build after watching many videos and hoping things will start to get easier and not take 20 bullets to kill one guy, which it is getting much better once i realized what perks i need to be going for.

I've avoided joining the high level events because I'm "afraid" that if I gain too many levels and my armor/guns aren't up to par I'll get wrecked by the enemies (or at least use ALOT of ammo). I just want to make sure I at least have the guns I need to kill the enemy..armor we can work on. Do you have any information on this? Great vid btw.
