tip tuesday weevil
This TT is about a serious and disgusting subject I know but newlyweds and new cooks need to know this information.
When I was a newlywed, I went through an infestation and I learned how to get rid of these nasty bugs through organic ways.
Tip Tuesday is about the bay leaf - about cleaning your pantry to avoid the Flour Weevil. You'll thank me!

Just discovered these Weevils walking around the bathroom floor and started the search for them. We discovered a sealed brand new package of this Japanese brown rice from Walmart were where they were coming out from. Thanks for the bay leaf tip. I also saw that roach motels work well in killing them. I will try these weapons as I am on a mission now.
Freezing works. Then put in sealed container.
Thank you for your advice. I'm really appreciate it 😊
omg, I took ages to find this video, this is precious
Thank you for this information.
I started sealing my flour in Tupperware tubs after inspecting for and freezing for bugs(weevils).
Got a infestation in my pantry, there in closed cereal boxes, closed oatmeal bags. There are many larvae. The food was unopened. What a horrible surprise. Will be wiping down the cabinets every few days because they are infested.
Thank you for this tip!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks will keep Bayleaf in jars. I really like the idea I will implement next time 👍
Thank you for the bay leaf advice!
I also used to keep empty egg shell to avoid house lizard 🦎
Vinegar and dish liquid will draw and kill the adults
Thank you for this
Free protein.
Thank you so much!! Doing everything you said to do 👌!!
How often do you replace bay leaves?
👍☺️
I’m noticing every bag of bay leaves I buy has dark bug droppings in many leaves. Anyone else have this happen?
Wow
