Tiny Tudor House Diorama | DIY Miniature Medieval House in the SNOW for my Christmas Village
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hi from Miss Diorama! In this video I make from scratch a miniature Tudor Style house from Medieval times. I've added snow to this tiny house for my Christmas Village display, and I can put lighting inside to mimic a fireplace and lamps inside the house. I made this tiny Tudor House using cardboard, glue, my own special paper mache clay, acrylic paints, clear plastic food containers (for the windows), balsa wood, egg cartons, real plants, coffee stirrers, glitter and air-dry clay. I hope you enjoy this video!.

The result is very nice. Thanks for sharing. It would be very helpful for all of us watching if you either told us or at least put text on the video of what you are using when you are using it on the video. Also how you made what you are using. I know you list it in the description, but we really don't know what you are using when. Other than that a great video.
Absolutely beautiful :) Just discovered your channel and subscribed :)

I started learning to make dioramas during Lockdown and have learned so much! Discovered your channel by accident and am so glad I did. I'm currently working on a Tudor bakery, but I'm using foam core, balas etc. I have so much cardboard to recycle, you've inspired me to make my next house from old boxes! I could do with a few details; what did you paint on the cardboard to give it rigidity? Looks like PVA glue and plaster, or tissue paper?
@MissDiorama

Hi-yes you are correct, it is white glue, toilet paper and plaster... do not use plaster of Paris unless you want it to set up very quickly. Also you can use PVA but it is so strong when combined with toilet paper and plaster that it is almost impossible to cut safely... that’s why I use white glue (aka school glue).

@@MissDiorama Thanks for replying! Not sure where you are, but afaik here in the UK, the schools use PVA. I've got tons of different types of glue including some £1 shop weak PVA which I use when I don't need something to stick like concrete. I'll do some expermienting with mixtures to see what works. I've learned a lot just watching your videos; can't believe you have so few subs. I'll be sure to drop your name wherever I think it might help build your channel. Keep posting vids :) x

@@MissDiorama Yes, I noticed you started last November. I hope the channel takes off; I think you have a lot to contribute to the modelling comunity, and we need more women involved! If you haven't already, check out Nerdforge. Some smashing ideas on there, I decided to make a book nook after my bakery is finished :) kzread.info/dash/bejne/oYZskrauf6bVmcY.html
Oh is it plaster? I cant imagine how long that all took
@MissDiorama

Yes, it's a plaster mix I make; plaster on it's own tends to crack so I add a few things to prevent that
These are amazing!! How long do they take you?
Thanks for sharing. Great work. How did you make the snow?

What a beautiful job that you do! You're very talented!. Could you please tell me the difference between the white material you use at minute 4:15 and the one at minute 21:06? They seem to be of different texture. Thanks a lot. I'm doing that house, I hope to finish it in a week. Greetings from Colombia

Thank you! It is the same mix, the earlier has more liquid which can be achieved either with h2O or more PVA - I prefer not to use too much liquid though because it can warp cardboard. Here's a link to how I make my snow (and terrain mix); kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIZ9l86zfbjRe6Q.html . In that video, from memory I believe I mentioned you can make this mix as 'wet' or 'dry' as you want, depending on what you are applying it to. Hope this helps?

@@MissDiorama Hello! Thanks for answering! I saw the video. It helped me a lot! Could you please answer the following questions? To glue those stones do you use only pure glue? 4) What material do you apply to the roof? minute 15:08 5) What material do you use at minute 17:28? 6) Material of the stones? 20:34 Thank you very much!!!😊
