Tiny Tour | Valencia Spain | A 180 year old Central Market 2020
Mercado Central or Mercat Central (Central Market) is a public market located in across from the Llotja de la Seda and the church of the Juanes in central Valencia, Spain. It is one of the main works of the Valencian Art Nouveau.
In 1839, the spot had been used to inaugurate an open-air marketplace called Mercat Nou. By the end of the century the city of Valencia sponsored a contest for the construction of a new roofed market. A new contest in 1910 selected the present design by Alexandre Soler March and Francesc Guàrdia Vidal, who had got his architect's degree at the School of Architecture of Barcelona and collaborated with Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Construction began in 1914 and was not fully completed until 1928 by the Valencian architect Enrique Viedma Vidal.

I love that you didn’t put music on this video so we could hear the sound of the people and I have seen a lot of videos of this market but this is definitely the best GOOD JOB 👍

Thanks we're very happy that you enjoyed it. To deliver a AT THE SCENE experience is what we wanted to achieve. However in this way, we sometimes capture people cursing in the street(not to us), like in the Peñíscola old town episode. Real Experience. 😁.

Hi, thanks for coming by. Actually we're not from Valencia, not so sure about how the international schools are in there. But I did some googling, found at least 3 of them in the city. We're just not confident to recommend anything that we don't know. Sorry. I hope you could find the perfect choice for your needs. 😀

Beaucoup de problèmes à ce port pour les passagers vers l'Afrique du Nord. Bureaucratie totale de la part de la police portuaire et des douanes. catastrophique merci nous ne sommes pas en Europe mais au nord de Koria J'ai beaucoup de joie depuis ce port avec voiture dans le bateau vers l'Algérie. Malheureusement nous n'avons eu que des problèmes avec la police et les douanes.Le bus a eu de l'argent, nous ne sommes pas montés sur le bateau et avons acheté nos billets pour rien..catastrophique catastrophique Je recommande à tous les passagers qui ne réservent pas de billet pour l'Afrique du Nord de passer par l'Espagne. Surtout le port de Valence. Merci beaucoup
