Your home is beautiful! My biggest downsize was going from a 700sq.ft one bedroom in Atlanta to a 300sq.ft studio in Seattle when we first moved here in 2016. I know that your downsize wasn't as extreme, but living in that tiny space with my husband and a cat taught me a LOT about the value of only keeping what we need. I actually liked it a lot, and after upgrading to a one bedroom and now a two bedroom we're ready to downsize to a one bedroom again.

Came here bc I’m about to downsize from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom with my son whose 8. Ty soooo much for this. We gotta do what we gotta do, and trust the process. God bless

I originally looked at your video for ideas (how others live in one bedroom with kids) and you have shown me MUCH more. The sigil board, positive affirmations/manifestations, the power of positive thinking, minimalism…. More people need to stumble upon your tour ❤. One question I have is what was the decision behind giving your daughter the private bedroom?

What a fantastic job you have done to create different zones and showing others how to live small and content! We recently downsized from a 650 sq foot apartment (1 BDRM) to a 400 square foot Studio Apartment. We absolutely LOVE it! So much easier to keep clean, only keep the things you love and definitely cheaper to rent! I highly recommend it! Downsizing has so many perks! 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Love your home and your family. Such a great vibe. We’re currently in the middle of renovating our apartment and our plans are very similar to how you’re set up. One bedroom apartment for a family of 3. We’ll have an open-plan kitchen with bar where we’ll eat (like yours). Living room is a bedroom-office-wardrobe space with cubbies from Ikea. And our kiddo gets the only bedroom in the apartment. We downsized from a 3 bedroom to a 1-bedroom as living in a smaller space makes more sense for us in the city - it’s more energy efficient and less stuff to occupy our space. But we’re also looking for a piece of land in the Greek countryside so we can grow our own food and learn to live sustainably in the future. That’ll be our next adventure, loading! x

@@daveandtiff oh thank you 😊 We moved from the UK to Greece in the middle of the pandemic and sold everything before we moved. We only brought some clothes, books, and memorabilia with us. Our original plan was to go straight to the countryside but with the forest fires happening last year, our land didn’t manifest and we ended up in the city in the meantime. But I can see our vision of our eco village clearer than ever and I can envision us building small cob homes in the near future. It excites me! Anyway, I started following you on IG. I don’t document our family journey openly but I’ll be sure to share with you when we finally get to our land in the Greek countryside. Many blessings to you and your family x

Thank you for watching!!! We just hoped and prayed she never popped out of her room. LOL! We never had an issue with intimacy privacy. She was pretty good about staying in her room at night. It could be different for those folks with smaller kids who tends to wake up in the middle of the night. When we did this previously, we had a sheer curtain that we could slide around our bed so that if she does wake up for the bathroom, she would not be able to see our bed.
