You do nice work. I know what time it takes to build something like this (I've been a carpenter for 45 years) and make it look and work right.

@72shovelhead45 the first of it's kind, I spend more time looking at it and thinking of all the possibilities to narrow down the best way to move forward! A second build would take half the time with all the decisions having already been made! BestRoy

@@roydesignedthat I know , when I built my gypsy wagon it was the same thing. Now I could build one (like you said ) in half the time. The worst part is the second built you'll come up with more ideas and cause yourself more headaches, Lol.

Looks like plans you would fi d on the cover of a 1950's, 1960's Popular Mechanics! Everytime I see a boat on the cover I buy it, but,... I still haven't built one, yet!

I'll bet the 4hp would be perfect. I'm using a 4hp Merc on my Bolger Micro. Most of the time I'm at idle doing a couple mph. 1/4 throttle I'm right up to hull speed. I mostly sail on the Columbia River. Bolger Micro has been awesome. Love your progress.

@logoseven3365 this size and function will save money in operation and ownership! We just got in from a boat trip for 4days that only cost gas. Launching was free, camping on isolated islands was free!!! BestRoy

Much smaller! Our DIANNE'S ROSE, houseboat is 17 X 8fy...MiniD is only 13ft 6in (14ft ish with overhang) X 6fy 4in Beam! Interior headroom is only 5ft 2 1/2in but over 6ft 6in with the hatches propped up! Small but yet MiniD has almost the same options as out DR! ...7ft long bunks or the back cushions can be dropped down for a full queen bed!!! An enclosed head and a small galley! Should be a surprise to most who come aboard!!! AllthebestRoy
