Insight ko dyan hindi mo sila masisi kasi the government will not profit from them bakit kasi may mga politicians either they own or has a share sa construction industry who knows who, ang mangyayari din dyan ung bidding if ever implement yan pero walang pera dyan na makukurakot kaya they need to change their route kasi kapag hindi the company will just close.

I agree. Tapos ikaw pa mamomroblema sa foundation. I inquired about one of their modular houses cause I was interested, 1.8M tas di pa kasama yung paggawa ng foundation and septic tank. So if you add the expense over and above 1.8M, price could easily jack up to 2.1-2.5M especially nag-increase na price ng materials and labor ngayon. For that price, I can build a solid and reliable concrete 100sqm house. I was dissuaded. Hahaha!

5 years ago parang 125k lng basic model nila. Un 60sqm nila nasa 300+k lng po. Nagbagona pla cla ng target market. Understandable naman po. G2M ang hi end n kubo. Nanalo yan design n yan parang architectural world competition for affordable housing design. Ang ganda ng design pang province beach o resorrt vacation house xa. Order n kayo. Hahaha .

Japanese apt. units in city areas are small, tight spaces but very functional, a very well thought design of a small living unit, I liked the concept adapted in the country in the near future, this Cubo modular could be the beginning, only negative here is the total cost of the house

Thanks for providing your honest opinion on the pros and cons of building a Cubo modular house. My issues are also cost, security and durability. You are correct, with a cost of almost 2 million pesos (w/o labor) one standard house with a bigger space can already built. On the issue of durability, can Cubo withstand heavy rains and typhoon, considering that it is made of bamboo? How about termites? I am considering buying a low cost modular or prefab home in a farm in Quezon. Hoping to hear your suggestions.

Doors in any most homes are usually made of wood. Anyone can just kick it open. Windows usually are just glass without protective grills. Anyone can just throw a rock and break it. Stop worrying about a wooden wall. There are homes made of wood besides bahay kubo. Worry about where you build the house. Most likely no one will invade your home. You'll just be killed outside.

Very informative video, Arch. Ed. The pros and cons part is crucial for me. My favorite takeaway is security. Also if I may add, another con is the long waiting period. I emailed them 2 days ago about how long I need to wait for their smallest model to arrive at my Quezon City property. Their reply was early next year if I reserve now. If I were an OFW who needs to fly soon, this would be unacceptable. Good job on this video, sir 👏 Hope you make other content about prefab homes from other companies.

Ang ganda talaga ng cubo. Pero ang pinaka downside for me is the security esp in this day and age.

Thank you for the fair review po. My concern are: 1. Acoustics? External sounds like honking of tricycle and jeep or even yelling neighbors early morning. 2. Termites, rats and molds? Philippines is very humid. We have a lot of pest too. All the repairs, labor and material included in the warranty? 3. Fire, knowing its engineered wood with poly carbonate. 4. The warranty of 50 years. Is the company have a lot of investor? In the Philippines it is sad to say that some company close down without notification. If we need repairs and the company is no longer available, it means the materials and labor will be unreachable too. I'm just asking because my husband and I are interested. We are working so hard to earn the money.

Nag taas sila ng presyo. Hindi ganyan ang price nila before. When they propose this project before the goal was to give an affordable housing for Filipinos and the price was affordable. Not anymore.

Korek, nung bago payan ,yung idea nila sa pag build ng cubo modular ay dahil maraming mahihirap ang walang maayus na tirahan at di kaya ng mahihirap makapagpagawa ng maayos dahil mahal daw.. kaya ito cubo modular ang naisip nila idea para makatulong sa mahihirap na di afford ang mahal na pagawa ng bahay 😂.. ahahaha But opposite yata 😂 Hindi yan maaafford ng mahihirap ang buhay.. pang maykaya o mayaman lang ang idea nila ahahaha 😂🤣..
