im very impressed by the thoughtful design. so many times they are an ugly box with a tiny window. these are so welcoming with windows on front and cozy wood paneling inside. a HUGE step up from living under a tarp or grungy tent. i live in the bay area ,so i know this is a tremendous accomplishment to make happen.

I just want to say something that I hope would make people consider this... if you build the tiny houses and allow only people who don’t do drugs or alcohol enter you’re really wiping out a huge percentage of homeless who need help, so only those who have been lucky enough to not be effected by drugs or alcohol can be welcomed back to society but if you nurture and offer support with open arms to everyone regardless of their situation I think it could be more effective. I would not mind if my tax money paid for people to have a better chance at life... the road to recovery is long and we can help by opening our arms and embracing the broken and hurt. My money can help someone in need rather than a rich politician.

The homeless will probably keep their communities better than some people who aren't homeless this is good news

How about opening up all the bank-owned, vacant foreclosures in the area!!!

Great news, they are opened up already! Trade your labor to an employer for money and then trade that money to a bank for a vacant foreclosed house.

What they fail to tell you is that 3 million dollars is a fraction of what homelessness costs the city right now.

$15,000 is enough for me to buy a piece of land and have a tiny home built on it.

the world need 'to-have-a-soul' for those people not all of them are a mental-case-or-druggies-some of them (specifically-due-to-the pendamics) due-to-so many reasons in-life-brought-them-to-this

Free stuff is always a blessing and always makes things better. If you're a bum that is. If you work and are overtaxed to pay for the largess to bums, no, not at all.

Do your resurch... These types of projects often help the working homeless. People who work but for various reasons have no place to live. Some are geared towards veterans.... are they freeloaders? Do they deserve no help?

The government of California is rich. Those DEMOCRATS POLITICIANS are getting rich day by day , but no solutions for homelessness? They keep raising taxes , who could able to afford? DEFUND THEIR SALARIES! REDUCE TAXES! REDUCE RENT
