This sounds really fun! I wonder if it would work to house-rule a draft for characters to add a little more player choice to the setup than dealing out at random? My first thought for 4p is something like deal a stack of five of each character class, then give each player one stack at random, everyone picks one and passes to the left until everyone has one of each class.

That's actually good idea! Coz then you may want to try to combo the special powers of some or all of your characters. I guess you can always try!

Yes it is 😁.

It looks like some rules have been tweaked for the release version. The Ballista attack isn't a free action, may be taken after moving in but then potentially causes weakness. And I can't find the rule about moving out and back in for villages not being possible - though that is still there for the ballista. But it's now possible to stay in the ballista space and shoot when a unit starts its turn there.

Hi haslo. Yes, we appreciate those corrections. This was indeed a pre-kickstarter prototype and some amendments were made for the release.

Thanks, another great video. Do you guys have a top 5 or 10 of the Tiny Epics? This one looks like one to look out for? Thinking about collecting some of these.

Thanks so much Adrian! We don't actually, and we haven't played the last one or two I think. That's probably a good idea, if we can get our hands on them. Tiny Epic Galaxy is a classic, and the Dino is awesome too. Western is unique... so many! :)

9:19 So there isn't a thing like "line of sight"? Feels weired shooting through a wall or mountain...

Correct. It's a little different to most ranged attack games, but the rules do give clear examples demonstrating that you can fire over a mountain, and that because you are on the same elevation as the target that there's no range penalty. 😀
