i tried playing this in january but my computer couldnt get more than 20 fps has there been anymore optimisations to the game since?

Hi, sorry to hear about your issue, there is a setting in TCA with frame rate limit and FPS, so try see if you can tweak it, but otherwise I can't really help you. You can try joining the Tiny Combat Arena Microprose Discord channel and seek help from there. The developer is always there to answer anything. Also, just checking we're talking about the Steam version correct, because there is also a TCA in itch.io which is the older version by same developer but is really a completely different sim.

@@RavTimes yeah the itch version runs fine until the third death and then it crashes (weird but it doesnt matter) but the steam version just wouldnt get anywhere close to playable levels of performance. i have updated the drivers on my graphics card a few times since i last tried but just looking at the game i dont think graphics would be an issue. (also try going for a lower angle of attack on your landings)

@@good_drink2294 perhaps you should contact Why (the developer) on Discord (link can be found in the game start menu itself). List your specs and see what is causing it. Yeah I need a better and more systematic approach to my landings rather than the point-and-shoot style I tend to do

Sorry, the Developer's handle on that Discord channel is "Only the Harrier is flyable"
