    That halfway scrape.. Oh my, I feel like that just changed everything for me.. Even molds much larger, with different materials, I never thought to do that. I always had trouble with my material popping out and distorting if I tried to scrape the top. Thank you!

    This is fantastic, thank you so much for the tutorial! Just starting my journey with precious metal clay and can’t wait to try this out. I’d love to make pendants out of these molds, so I’d need to add a little ring on top of them - is that possible to do after the clay dries and I take it out of the mold?

    Very funny you say make and keep as I was doing the same thing earlier this week. Only I got frustrated with thin shallow leaves so I gave up for awhile. The scrapping some out on the swipe repeatedly. Thank you for the wet finger release tip. That may have been problem. Thanks for a really good video on this. The deep impression tips were also good.

    No, it doesn't work well at all. I've tried it. The results come out crumbly. You want to use dense clay for this.

    Hi! 😃 Thank you for generously sharing your knowledge with us! I'm a silk artist and I'm thinking about getting the pmc's to add some langiappe to my silks. I've watched your videos and I'm excited to learn about the clays.....especially making my own jewelry! I'm interested in making my own jewelry because I am not a fan of the normal "run-of-the-mill" jewelry. I just recently learned about the pmc's and your channel has sooooooo much info - Thank you for that! BTW, it would be EXTREMELY distressing if your fingers left your hands! I'm happy to say that in this video this did not happen😁 Confused??? Your comment: 8:27 - "....at no time will my fingers leave my hands..." 🙂 🙃 🙂

  • @PamEast

    @PamEast

    Жыл бұрын

    You can torch these if you have a very deft hand with a torch. But they are TINY and are just as likely to melt into a tiny ball. I kiln fired a bunch of them and sent them to a smith friend who soldered them onto sterling jewelry. So know that's possible.

  • @PamEast

    @PamEast

    I wipe my fingers off with a damp sponge. Once it gets saturated with silver I rinse it out in a cup. The silver settles to the bottom and I can pour off the water and recover the silver.
