Papua is an island. It divided in two parts. The east part belongs to Papua New Guinea (it's different country). The West part belongs to Indonesia. Papua in Indonesia also divide into 2 province. Papua province and West Papua province. The name can be confusing Oh, let's learn new Indonesia vocab: east: timur West: barat North: utara South: selatan. Central: tengah. Bagimu Negeri is one of national songs, and it's definitely older than 2016.. Even my mom who was born in late 50s learned it since childhood..

Why is the creature in the final scene not "Garuda"? Why Dragon? The mythological creature in the last scene of “Wonderland Indonesia” is a manifestation of Antaboga (Ontobugo) and Garuda. In ancient Javanese wayang, Antaboga is the king of snakes who guards the bowels of the earth. Ruler of the "underworld". The figure of Antaboga or Naga is inherent in Javanese and Balinese culture. usually found in gamelan carvings, gates and gates as a symbol of "guardian". Physically Antaboga is more like a dragon, but we develop it by combining the gallant Garuda with its wings. As a symbol of the guardian of the world above and below. And on the forehead there is a symbol of "Surya Majapahit" which means Dewata Nawa Sanga. Nine guardian gods in every direction of the compass. Why not Garuda with its Pancasila? Garuda Pancasila is a symbol of the state which is certainly sensitive if it is imagined anciently. Because the symbol of the country is protected by law. That's a bit of a fairy tale. Greetings #WonderlandIndonesia | Cultured Freedom!

A little explanation from me about Indonesia. Sabang to Merauke, Miangas to Rote Island. It has 17,504 islands, like a bridge, which connects, unites and binds diversity. Because diversity is a blessing that must strengthen unity, not the other way around. 718 recorded languages, 1 unifying language of the Indonesian nation, 300 ethnic groups, 1340 ethnic groups from east to west. 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩☺️🙏BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA WHICH MEANS, DIFFERENT BUT STILL ONE.

Look forward to seeing your reaction. Here's a brief detail about the music video. In case you get it wrong: the claim 'Indonesia is the most beautiful land in the Universe' at the beginning of the video, I guess was added for marketing purposes only. We all believe that every places are equally beautiful. Most people were asking: What are those headpieces she wore? Those headpieces (crowns) she wore called Tiara for females or Mahkota for males. In the past you must wear those kind of headpieces to identify yourself as a royal family member and normally made of gold and silver with diamond installed in the middle of it. Every diamond placed in a Tiara or Mahkota can't be just a normal diamond. It has to be something with a magical power. Meanwhile, headpieces for the usual people are made of clothes. Headpiece is one the most important outfits for almost every ethnic group in Indonesia. Even more important than shirts. In my original tribe and many others, we don't wear shirt for males, We usually wear 3 pieces of sarong (a loose cloth) to cover our waist up to the knee (No shirts on) and of course a headpiece. In my own tradition (Sasak in Lombok) headpiece isn't just an accessory. It is actually more as a symbol that you appreciate your head and to prove that you are responsible to protect it even from the heat. Headpiece is the very first thing you wear when you're born. Your parent will have it made for you a month before you even born. Nowadays, everyone can wear any kind of royal headpieces during their wedding ceremony and many other special occasions. What are they singing? This video showcases 9 traditional folk songs from 9 ethnic groups out of 879 ethnic group existed in Indonesia. The main song is Padamu Negeri - One of our national anthems. As an Indonesian, there is no way you not gonna cry when singing or listening to that song. It is our oaths to the mother land. Our promises to the nation. And as the answer to the prayers of our parent which Alffy described perfectly through that young mother singing lullaby to her newly born son. A lullaby can't only be just a nice song to bring you to sleep, it consists a prayer, wishes and hopes of our parent to see us grow as someone useful to the nation. Nothing can make them happier than that. What is that traditional musical instrument he's playing? That musical instrument is a traditional Dayak instrument called Sape. You must check out UYAU MORI playing Sape SOLO which will bring you into the world of true relaxations. Who did the speech and what is it about? It was the original proclamation speech done by our first president Soekarno. Are those places real? The buildings and nature scenery were all real but yes, CGI effects applied to make the video looks more cinematic. Those floating buildings are; Rumah Gadang (Sumatera), Rumah Toraja (Toraja), Borobudur Buddhist temple (Magelang), and Pura Ulun Danu (Bali). If I'm not mistaken, the Goddess statue where the singer starts her singing is at Royal Pitamaha, Ubud, Bali. Of course they're not floating in real except Pura Ulun Danu which situated on the lake. What is the Symbol that awaken the dragon? It is called Surya Majapahit or known as Dewata Nawa Sanga - The 9 Gods that protect the universe from 9 different dimension compass wise. What are those creatures? The creatures you see at the end of the video are GARUDA and a Dragon known as Antaboga from the mythology of the ancient Majapahit kingdom . Antaboga is believed to be the guardian of the underearth dimension. That's why you will find it featured in many of our traditional carvings, crafts, and even in our architectural designs. Meanwhile, Garuda is the main symbol of our country (You can't really showcase it for commercial purposes because It's protected by law). Garuda itself is a huge gigantic bird that can only be found in Indonesia. And is believed by the Hindu as the main vehicle of God Vishnu. Where they shot this video? 1. GWK - Garuda Wishnu Kencana in Bali which known as one of the biggest statues in the world. 2. Royal Pita Maha, Ubud 3. Taman Nusa, Bali 4. Ubud Valley 5. Baleurang, Ubud. Note: Trust me, there are thousands of 'mysteries' yet to be unfold in Indonesia (Nusantara) and I guess, historian refused to dig deeper into it because they wanted us the be classified as a third class country. 'A 3rd class country that shared a lot of things in common including traditional language with many of the far far away lands like Hawaii, Fiji, Kiwi, and even the Greenlanders'. By the way, thank you for the awesome reaction. It means a lot for all of us in Indonesia.

Yeah this MV was huge budget, fun fact this project support by one of crazy rich in Indonesia name Doni salmanan, you can see his name in the credits. This is medley of folks song in some region, for Indonesian maybe we can sing the song but not all can understand the lyrics, because we have many different local or region language. I think this is the best gift for celebrate Indonesia independence day by Alffy Rev, Novia and all the people behind this. Correction bro, Papua new Guinea different with Papua Indonesia but that in located in one island name papua, separated by 2 country.

Ah you're smart. Always nice to watch a smart reactor like you. Imo the video was in 2 parts, first part was showing the richness of the culture in Indonesia. The second part was about the journey of Indonesian freedom. Startiing from the solo guitar by Alfi himself, it was sad vibe isn't it ...the sadness of our struggle to get our freedom. Following with the declaration of independence with a happy and powerful beat. 2 month after the independence, we have the outh of the youth ...and it has awoken the dragon as a symbol of the awakening of Indonesian. Thanks again for the reaction, really appreciate your effort to try to understand it. 🙏🙏🙏

Alffy Rev's music video represents the wealth of nature, ethnicity, customs and culture in Indonesia. Jellyfish and flying fish can be found in Indonesian waters and only as symbols. The opening dance is from the Dayak tribe, while the song is titled "Paris barantai" by the artist of the Banjar tribe, Anang Ardiansyah. Both tribes are on the Kalimantan island. The dance is a kind of welcome dance with full of joy. While some of the folk songs performed by Novia Bachmid and the traditional outfits she wears come from ethnic groups in Indonesia, namely the song "Sipatoka'an" from North Sulawesi, the song "Sajojo" from Papua, the song "Soleram" from Riau, central Sumatra. , the song "Kampuang nan jauh di mato" from West Sumatra, the song "Manuk Dadali' from West Java and the song "Anak kambing saya" from East Nusa Tenggara. The name of the traditional stringed instrument used by Alffy in the song "Kampuang Nan Jauh di Mato" is "Sape" from the Dayak tribe, Kalimantan which means "picking with fingers". While a mother who is lulling her baby, comes from the Javanese tribe. The song contains the hope that her baby will become a noble, dignified and make proud for the parents. The beautiful house as a backdrop is an authentic traditional Javanese house made of carved teak wood. One of the cities in Central Java, namely "Jepara", is famous for carving crafts. Finally, the Dragon figure that appears (we call it Naga in Indonesian) is a depiction of the Javanese Dragon, a Javanese mythological creature that has been designed since at least the time of the Majapahit kingdom, East Java. It is said that the Javanese Naga or Anantaboga as the guardian deity in the bowels of the earth. It is not surprising that Alffy Rev always brings up Dragons from Javanese mythology, especially during the Majapahit era because Alffy Rev comes from Mojokerto, a city in East Java where the Majapahit kingdom is located The recording of the declaration of independence read by our first President, Soekarno, was taken from the national archives. The last song is actually a national song, not made up at all as we all learn of this song at school ~ and is still sung until today
