Met Tinashe at a playoff game last year, super down to earth. Walks around with no security, waited in line for her food like everybody else, and stopped to talk to myself and a friend for a few minutes and took pictures. Dope

@Miguel R It's because you don't understand the music business man. Hits are manufactured. RCA is not dropping the bag on her like they did on Bryson Tiller”s Trapsoul album or like H.E.R. When your label cuts your budget, YOU WILL fall off.

this album really was for us.. for those of us who’ve been there since in case we die, reverie, black water, aquarius, amethyst, nightride and joyride.. through it all... i could hear it all in songs for you. songs for you is our medication. we needed this. she needed this. this is her/our time.

This woman did a great job interviewing Tinashe, even though Tinashe never gives us REAL tea lol great job ladies👏
RCA never promoted her, they limited her creativity, they made her release songs she didn’t want to release, she didn’t have any creative freedom and they kept putting her in a box. they never saw her true potential and they didn’t understand her vision. they truly didn’t respect her artistry. now that tinashe is free from rca, she finally has her creative freedom back. i really hope she receives much more recognition this time. she deserves so much better. i’m so glad that tinashe continues to thrive and she will continue to win next year 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I love how even after years of being in the music industry (for the most part independent, since she started out on her own) Tinashe is STILL so humble, genuine, sweet & down to earth. She gives me a lot of the same vibes Aaliyah had. And Aaliyah....... was literally EVERYTHING to me growing up when she was still here, she was my hero. And it's rare for someone to remind me so much of her. But Tinashe does. ❣️👑❣️ 🙏

That's the problem unfortunately, you can't really be sweet and humble you gotta fight and have a little fire in your belly. She has every tool to be successful but unfortunately it doesn't stick to people... Her album debuted at 167 on the billboard top 200 where tf are her fans that said they would support her

You're definitely right about that. I remember her saying in an interview years ago that she enjoys "putting people in a false sense of security". Her debut album had "demon" voices in the liner notes. "Ouch ouch" is a visual allegory of matrimony to the Devil. And her last record is openly Satanic, with a hidden serpent in her hair and "fallen alien", a song in praise to Satan. When I try to listen her last album I feel uneasy... I believe there's more to her than meets the eye.

This interview was EXCELLENT. I really enjoyed just learning about the whole process and this felt like a conversation where they actually cared about what matters most: the MUSIC.
She looks so fresh faced and present. I can hear it in her voice, she just seems so relaxed and ready to show the world what she’s made of without having to worry about label pressures and the charts. Also Tinashe listens to Doja Cat and ROSALIA, we love taste.

This interview was gold ladies, I loved it. Tinashe's new album is so fireeeee. Well worth all the hype and the positive feed back. Question: Not meaning to be negative, but super curious. Who were they referring to when they said they weren't allowed int he neighborhood. Update: I did my good google search and found out who it was. Don't even tell me lmfao she's not worth the mention.
