Agreed - and that's after a stroke and kidney disease! Tina is an inspiration in sickness and in health.

Tina, you are an inspiration to us all. A beautiful woman with a beautiful Soul. Since retiring, you have recovered from a stroke, and thanks to your darling and loving Husband who donated a kidney to you, you are still spreading your love to the world. The world is a better place for having you.

Very kind of her to do this. Enjoy hearing about the happy parts of her childhood. God bless your soul, Ms. Turner. Rest well.

@@DBZluvz yes. Tina has been very I'll. She had a stroke in 2013. She went into total kidney failure in 2016 and had a transplant ...her husband was the donor. In 2017 she was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent more surgery. She is living quietly with her husband in Switzerland and is not able to work anymore. I hope she is ok...I love her too. I've been to several of her live concerts. Best concerts I have ever been to. Bless you dear Tina.

Wonderful interview. Couldn't help notice: "There were 4 or 5 subjects. And they were: reading, writing, and 'rithmatic." I guess it's not a surprise that 'rithmatic wasn't a favorite. -and yes, she's still a beauty. A few weeks ago, I happened upon this site driving from Memphis to Nashville. I saw a sign for a rest stop and had no idea that there was a wonderful attraction ahead. It was a great surprise on our trip.
