Ok, the only way I can rationalize the door wedge working in Tin Realm is that as soon as your catfolk saw the deathmage, he freaked and instinctively yeeted it at the mages face and as soon as it boink'ed off of his forehead, the catfolk ran for it screaming all the way. And good thing that the catfolk was taught in the ways of pocketsand by the great and wise Dale; really came in crutch there. But man..... the poor kitty was pounded red, blue, and PURPLE, wasn't he? Love me some Tin Realm, the whole exploration aspect just adds so much more depth to push your luck mechanic. I hope we get to see a game in the future were we get the more detailed character grow of Iron Helm mixed the more refined push your luck and combat of the Tin games and Realms exploration mechanics. Hell, this would really work well for a hypothetical Desolate II (tin version... Tin Moon?). Can you imagine having to advanced though the base by carefully navigating through its rooms having to carefully line up the symbols while being able to learn new skills? Crap... I gotta stop before I torture myself anymore heh.

I love that haha. The Catfolk just chucks the Door Wedge at the Deathmage. XD Oh, dude...that's giving me ideas. Maybe I could work some of that into the next tin game I design. Obviously I'll make it my own as to not completely rip off Jason's design. He did make a video a while back about how he thinks it's totally fair game to be inspired by other people's ideas and mechanics and build off of them. I may have to try something along those lines with the sci-fi themed game I want to work on next. Thanks for watching and giving such insightful and colorful feedback! :D

Would love to say Purple, but living in the UK I wouldn't qualify, bah! Love the 'Give it a Spin' mechanism! Great playthrough as always. Nicely done through Tin Helm - the Axe is a great weapon, rolling again for doubles is really powerful & of course being able to throw it as a last resort is pretty good too! For Tim Realm: Epic battle, thought you'd lost then fantastic recovery! Also Agree with your thoughts for the extra location card & how to deal with it. Thanks again for a teriffic double playthrough, enjoyed it alot. Keep 'em coming!

I just finished watching your playthrough, and dude… that ending was absolutely thrilling! You really pulled through, and it was amazing to watch. I have four observations to share: Firstly, I couldn’t help but notice that the Pigman card looks a lot like ALF, the ET from the TV shows. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with it, but since you’re into aliens, I thought it was worth mentioning. By the way, since we are comparing pigmen and aliens, I wonder if we mixed them what would happen. Maybe from the PIGment side, we would get a purple skin, and from the alien side, we’d get that ethereal glow of magenta light. Just a thought. 😉 Secondly, about the forks on the road. Same here, brother, same here. 😅 And since we’re talking about forks, the third thing is what about the hard time finding food situation? When you asked for our help, I felt like we were there with you, all hands up contributing to your genki dama of good luck. It was such an engaging moment! 🙌 Finally, today I learned a valuable lesson about not pushing my luck when there are skulls on both sides of the map.😬 Overall, I had a fantastic time! Much more entertaining, educational, and immersive than watching a series. Thanks for sharing your playthrough, mate! 😃💚

Is the Pigman turnip trade a reference to Animal Crossing? 🤯 Jason also hides the Power Cell from Desolate in his other games’ illustrations. There’s one in the TH Item Deck.

I’m not too familiar with Animal Crossing; I know what it is, but I’ve never played it. You’re likely right about that. I’ve found the power cell on the Iron Helm box but didn’t know there was one on the Tin Helm loot deck! I’ll have to go check that out and see if I spot it!
