back after the update and yes they did, i think it balances them well. they’re still more than viable and quickscoping is elite, but now there’s no more getting snipers to 1 hp as they calmly line up an unmissable hardscope on you

Sniping is so much fun ONLY if you have good hand-eye coordination as if you miss that first shot, you're screwed 🤣 I got some awesome M44 clips as it feels like the Kar98!

I use MnK on this game and sometimes when I get a kill with the snipers it feels like I didn't hit them like there was a lag or their hitbox was very large for some reason but then again other times I can't hit a player just standing still so Idk its weird

I think in multiplayer tdms and stuff one shot body shots are fine, in battle royale I'm cool with it being one shot as long as it's a headshot. It's a high risk high reward you've gotta hit that one shot. Especially with the way games are going more fluid movement and stuff. How convenient it would be in war if you could just say I don't like being killed by that type of weapon.

Thing is with sniping, you can say its easy to get kills, but are those kills actually meaningful, can you compete with the lobby and still play the objective enough to win, most people probably not and other guns will ultimately still win out

I love sniping on this game just wish Tac was slightly faster. Some maps are way harder to snipe on than others so i only snipe on certain maps

2 of the shotguns ins this game 1 shot, they're what I use.

Honestly so far I've only ran into maybe like 5 decent snipers who just had my number. The rest of them I just melt with an ak across the map.

Should of promoted zhaiv as he only snipes. He also does a great job interacting with his chat.

damm all the sniper i face are fucking god where most of mine aren't some are but most are 2k score in a full 700 plus score on both sides hardpoint. nice experience

All I did was snipe till level 45 … the Tac 50 is the most broken when flinch is added it should be better, but I noticed, even with yesterday update that fixed netcode stuff some more, you can shoot over someones shoulder and it counts as a hit as if the projectile is bigger than it should be… The m44 isn’t as op and feels like there’s more skill involved even with its fast ads you got to be more accurate at least and can be 2 shots if you’re not a good shot. Overall this compared to cod is no different if you’re good you’re good simple, on paper though this will become harder than cod to snipe, but that’s only in theory based off of said changes and numbers like less AA, depends on how it translates to the gameplay.

Sniping is op as hell. I use it but I will say this one thing. Locking a person to use a 12x scope in a close quarter combat is by far the funniest and dumbest things ever.

The biggest problem with sniping in this game there's multiple snipers per game just getting one shot time after time before I can even fire a bullet I've never felt like sniper had a overwhelming advantage long range yea but xdefiant snipers be running around with infinite range shot guns

@@killerineverygame not sure what games you been playing lol the snipers I run into all different names different games are just running around the map like they gat a shotgun in their hands literally the amount of times I'm turned the corner ran literally into the body of the sniper jumped back press my trigger button instant snipe you obviously have played much of the game I'm lvl 30+ I haven't really seen any campers snipers or otherwise if your still in the welcome Playlist the restof the game is 200% different and 500% more sweaty

I don’t think sniping in Xdefiant is difficult Sniper ADS is fairly quick, one shots are super lenient in the hit box especially with the health characters get. I haven’t seen one really poor sniper player. I think flinch will add an extra layer of complexity for a risk reward play style.

The reason you don't see bad snipers is because they try sniping and realize they suck at it, then never touch it again. It may not be hard to some, but it is to most. But the game definitely needs flinch for them 4 sure.

​@fydofight2583 If your average player just put in an hour of practice, they won't struggle. I'm 35 years old and am decent with a sniper. Except against other snipers, my reflexes are failing. If you just focus on keeping your screen centered, quick scopes are easy. They need to slow the ADS some or add a lot more flinch.

Leave the Snipers alone in my opinion. Apparently they are putting a nerf in soon by adding more Flinch to snipers. No just No, that will do nothing. It will only encourage Sniper players to play harder and practice being on point more as the one shot shoot first will win anyway. Its a Skill issue and if players have put the time in to get good with the Sniper then they should Not be penalised for it.

The thing about sniping in this game is if u miss the first 1-2 shots your dead so you have to be better at aiming than anyone else playing. If that same person used any other gun with the same accuracy they used to snipe people would still be pissed.

Playing against a good sniper is annoying , but you can pick up a controller for the first time in your life and get consistent one shots in XDefiant

I think the sniping is perfect the way it is right now. Its hard enough to require skill but not easy enough for everyone to abuse. I think snipers are already weak right now in the game, if they made them worse they would be potato shooters. I get more hitmarkers than kills just about every game. I usually average 30-50 kills.

why are people sayin sniping is harder in this game? I have found sniping to be sooooooo fuckin easy in this game. I love it. I havnt felt sooooo over powered in a game in such a long time.

Because they're running around battle sniping. If they just sit back and hold the very linear lanes that most maps have then they wouldn't be able to say sniping isnt op. But I think that's less of a sniping issue and more of a map design issue

So I don’t know who this guy is, but he is so full of shit. This is easily the easiest game I’ve ever sniped in. All the way back to Halo CE or goldeneye for me, no FPS game has ever had an easier sniper. Not a chance it has 50% less aim assist.
