Have been using this watch since the past 8yrs. Great model, sadly discontinued. The newer version does not come with the memo mode. Only problem with this watch is the strap quality. Undergone 5 strap changes and one body change in these past 8 yrs. Love it to bits!!

It's reissued a few days back in USA

I am searching this one since long...

An old model but excellent by all means. So I purchased this back in 1995 and finally parted with it in 2005 with just a single battery change that too after 7 years of purchasing. The model that I had, did not have a leather strap. It had steel metallic strap with rubber fillings between every alternate metal strip. Looked more like a tank caterpillar track. I can guarantee you've made a great choice. I still wish 2 buy it again. Congratulations !

This is the best digital watch ever made. First got my hands on it back in 2007 later i got another one in 2010. However, i lost my watch. It was damn tough watch. Mostly worn by Indian armed forces professionals.

I used this watch 15 years back, I have purchased this watch twice... It lasted me for 3 years when I first bought, I lost it and then once again I bought the same watch for the second time, then I used it for 3+ years.... and so I confirm that this is really a great watch which is both beautiful, tough and filled with features and technology.

Baby this watch is a beast. Batteries were dead since 3 years straps were gone. But even after 3 years I replaced the batteries and again beast back to the life from fossils. just not okay with straps . other wise this beast is the best.since 2009 I am using it.

My Father received this in the Army, he gave it to me. I just played around with it. But I started wearing it in 6th grade, I fell in love with it!! I could even wear it in pool. I used it a lot, one day I did somehow damaged it. I want one again. Where can I buy this again?

Yups, my dad was in the Army too and I used to see it in CSD all the time but couldn't buy it. Surprisingly, this watch got re-released in the US a few days back. You can get it if someone lives there.

Its like Big bazaar, More type of stores but smaller in size and operations and meant for Indian defence personnel only. Basically it's a type of hypermarket I don't know what is Big Bazaar and More equivalent type of stores present in your country to give you an example of if you are not from India :)

why Timex discontinued this superb model?

i bought it in 2004 with cotton strap and black & blue color combination and i used it till 2011-12 without any problem, then i lost it.. i am still searching for it if available anywhere.

They've stopped the production of this watch now but this is the best electronic watch I've ever seen, it's both technically more advanced as well as durable and stylish watch. I bought 2 such watches, used it for around 6 years.

If you're going to use it for a few hours of running everyday, it is an excellent watch. It has great features to help you time your run, and to help you beat your best time. However, if you plan to use it as a 24x7 daily use watch, like I was using, then, depending on your lifestyle, it may not be the best. At any rate, at that price, it should be worth taking the risk!

18mm strap can be purchased anywhere. I’d go to Amazon and throw a nato strap on this. :-)

You might still get it at the timex store. I recently got the complete display replaced, since it had stopped working..... bought it in 2004 :)

Bhai it got released in US aa limited edition a few days back.

It is a good watch, though unfortunately it wasn't able to keep up with my lifestyle. I was working on my car a few weeks ago, and while reconnecting the car's battery, some fumes escaped. These fumes were completely harmless to me, but left some stains on the display of the watch. Seeing this, I decided to replace it with a Casio G-Shock G310 (I've also done an unboxing for that). I like the concept of a 'tank track' strap, it would look cool on this watch, given the watch looks pretty tough.
