I was able to find the manual on line finally! Thanks to knowing what to look for as per this u-tube. What a great help! The alarm defaulted to 'beep' when I changed the back up battery. This must have happened before but I didn't remember a previous default to beep. I keep on top of the battery because I don't want it to leek and cause damage. Oh, and did I mention I love the "bells" sound?

Thank you for this. This is hand down the best thing ever. Just when Raido Shack was closing, I went back to try and find another one. I hope mine never breaks. The "sounds" are great-you can wake up to them as well as go to sleep or, use as a nap feature. Not to mention playing CDs and the radio sounds good. One question please, because I can't find my manual. For some unknown reason, the alarm has switched to a beep instead of a sound I had been using forever. How do I get the sound back for the alarm feature? I appreciate it.
