Timeline of the NEW YORK KNICKS' MISERIES and RETURN to the PLAYOFFS
Спорт
The Knicks qualified for the playoffs each season after the addition of Anthony. The team’s success was short-lived, and, in an attempt to initiate a turnaround, it hired former Knick Phil Jackson as team president. This led to a ripple effect of miseries, disaster, hardships, heartaches, and lost hope for the Knicks fanbase.
However, the Knicks look like they are having an astounding defensive turnaround under coach Thibodeau.
Relax, Watch, and Witness the Timeline of the the KNICKS' MISERIES and RETURN to the PLAYOFFS. Don't forget to subscribe and like my Videos! ENJOY!

I swear if Carmelo's Ego didn't hurt, the Knicks would've been championship contenders with the big three of Lin, Carmelo, and Stoudamire, and they also have 3 great players in JR, Chandler and Shumpert. Dang, that's why egos actually play a big part in an NBA players career

As a Knicks fan, that whole Isaiah Thomas/ Starbury era gave me a bit of PTSD. Been a Knicks fan since the 90's. I had the Ewing high tops, a Starks jersey and still have a poster of Starks dunking over Jordan and Grant. So glad to have Tibs as a coach, see Randle improve and have D Rose back as a vet. Plus the potential of the young players in the roster. The sad part from that 2019 draft was that Zion actually wanted to play in NY but Barrett is also a decent player.

I love Melo, but I gotta admit that sometimes he act like a spoiled kid. During his years in NY, he used to crowd out his teammates and refuse to share the ball. It seems like he didn’t care if the team wins or loses, and all he cared about is dropping points. Then he refused to play the bench for OKC. From my point of view, Melo learned those bad habits from AI during his years in Denver.

This spontaneous combustion by the Knicks just shows how individual character can affect a team's chemistry. Being a Knicks is knowing pain and suffering for SAS lol. It's all about business and not basketball in MSG. Melo is the hometown hero but he couldn't work with anybody. Linsanity was a flash in the pan but at least he brought hope. The real heartbreaker for me imo was seeing Shumpert and Smith succeed with the Cavs. Porzingis was a love-hate relationship, Ntilikina and Knox was a bust. Joakim Noah was ridiculous. Too high expectations on Walker I felt bad, but we kinda making it up with Rose as the vets on the team. We didn't get Zion but damn RJ BARRETT make me feel good about being a Knicks fan again. (Except Randle, who seems to have an attitude problem and started regressing). I wish we had people who actually love the game and are smart with building the players, not focused on $$$. Look how we dropped the ball on KD and Irving.

Amare, Gallinari, and Wilson Chandler were all injury prone. If those are your core players, you're doomed. They were also 28-26 in that 2010-11 season before the Melo trade. Fans are so blinded by what-ifs, they don't see the what-was.
I can’t believe I saw 2 17 win seasons in 4 years than not even 2 years later we finished 41-31 and got the 4th seed in the East. We really deserved this. The basketball gods finally helped us

Knicks struggled
It’s so easy to dislike Melo in this narrative. The media portrays Melo like he’s the problem, but he wasn’t. Dolan was the reason why they triggered that initial trade for our entire roster for him before the trade deadline. He stepped over Walsh’s decision to wait until free agency, that’s why Walsh left to go to Indiana. Those pieces could’ve elevated our roster and gave us the depth we needed. Lin provided us the spark we needed, when Melo and Amare came back from their injuries, they won games together. Melo didn’t run him out of town, Dolan didn’t want to give Lin a 3 year extension with that amount of money. Melo then took his 5 year extension to potentially win in NY with Phil Jackson, but he’s tenure was a disaster.
