[Astronomy]Timeline of an M-type Star - Planetball
This is about the evolution of a Proxima-like star(Mass is 0.1x Sun) and its planets.
You can go to en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stell... to learn about “M-type”
Music used:
Kevin MacLeod - Garden Music
Kevin MacLeod - Thinking of You
Toby Fox - CORE
23 is a good number, because it is double 11.5.
Planetballs are basically same to polandballs, the only difference is the character, not countries, but space objects including stars, planets, moons and even galaxies.

    So i had an idea: after all star types have been covered maybe there should be a popup like "new types unlocked". Those would be L and T brown dwarves or you could throw on a hypothetical Ω type star wich isn't technically a star since instead of fusing hydrogen it feeds a black hole in the center wich spews out enough energy to keep the star from collapsing. It's difrent forces but with the same effect as regular fusion in the core of a star.

    I think part of the reason Gas Giants tend to form has to do with the whole binary+ pairs things being fairly common in the universe. They probably wind up not having enough material to become the binary partner star or even a brown dwarf in most cases. Well, it's either that or objects simply obtain as much mass as they can.

    Stats for today’s star Star Type: M (red dwarf) Mass: 0.096 solar mass Lifespan: 1 trillion years or more Benefits and downsides of living in a red dwarf star system: Benefits: 1. The star has a very long lifespan, giving intelligent civilization enough time to evolve into an interstellar species 2. Very common in the universe Downsides: 1. Planets are prone to solar storms 2. Planets may be tidally locked, with one side facing the star, while the other face away from the sun. Habitability is unlikely depending on the planet’s atmosphere

    The fact that even a red dwarf's absolute brightest and hottest moment still only produces 1/3 of Solar's luminosity is pretty insane. Just shows you how truly dim red dwarfs are compared to even our dwarf of a star

    Nah not really, its is very mich expectwd gliesse 710 will pass through the ort cloud and at much it could eject dwarf planets out of suns gravitati9nal influences or throw them and some asteroids to the inner solar sistem at the very much it could affect a bit the orbit of Neptune or maybe even uranus but nothing closer to the sun.

    How do these things even form and live for long with how small they are, I would think they don't have enough hydrogen to burn for so long

  • @sailordolly

    @sailordolly

    They burn it very slowly--this star was listed as having two thousand times lower luminosity than our sun, and eleven times less mass. That would allow it to burn for several hundred times longer than our sun.
