Thankfully, there are people who monitor your heartrate, pulse, etc., when you're put asleep any signs that you'd show of waking up or gaining consciousness, (which is *very* rare,) they would just give you more anesthesia.

I've saw a documentary about people who woke up during surgery. They couldn't move, but their brain was awake and they felt everything the surgeon did. After these few cases, they put you to sleep in a way so if you wake up, you can move your finger so they know you're awake. But if you want to torture someone, that's probably the best way to do it.

That's never gonna happen b'coz in every general anaesthesia surgery we countinues monitor your brain activity by eeg if its slightly change we increase anaesthetic dose soo don't worry you have high chance of not waking up by going coma by high dose of anaesthetic than waking up in mid between surgery.

my body woke up in an ear surgery once, for about a second.. i could feel the pain and what they were doing to my body.

Well I’m pretty sure if you woke up while they were doing surgery on you then they would immediately make you fall asleep again

The thing is, sometimes the anesthesia affects you differently and you are able of feeling all the pain. However you cannot move nor speak. Similar to sleep paralysis.

This happened to a guy, he then became traumatized and couldn't remember why he felt emotionality fearful and they gave him a chemical to make him forget. He eventually committed suicide and the family sued the hospital

Don’t worry this guy made most of this up I have no experience with health but there’s no way you can kick someone strong enough to knock them out when being surgeoned on, let alone stand up. Also they would probably notice that your heart rate increased and put you back to sleep
