I think you are under the impression that I feel any kind of shame on behalf of how other people choose to think and speak about me, but I don’t. I think it's incredibly sad that sites like tattle life exist - that people would actually take the time to write things about someone they've never met based on *glimpses* into someone else's life in a desperate attempt to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings. SO many of us are on a journey of self-discovery, self-improvement, self-understanding and self-love. Lydia has never claimed to be perfect - she's been vulnerable, open, and honest with her audience and it's been wonderful to watch her evolve every aspect of her life. There are certainly pictures of me partying all over the world in my 20s in VERY questionable outfits (ha!) with questionable people and if someone thought I would stay that person well into my 40s... well, it's absolutely laughable. It's a joy to grow, to learn more about ourselves, to evolve our style and our priorities, and it's been a joy to watch Lydia on her journey. I can only commend her for sharing it with us!

Lydia- I’m with you. I don’t want to normalize chaos. I dont function well in it. When I’m in a bad space, my house is not in order. So I strive to keep things together.

Most people who say it's an investment piece have never actually sold their bag. Fashion enthusiasts or other companies take huge commissions from it. By the way, if I had to choose between investing in stocks and Chanel bags, I'd bet that S&P stocks would do better. Bags may also be damaged or lost, so it is better to buy bags for daily use from *esluxs* with a normal mind.

I wish you stopped second guessing yourself so much, you are such an elegant woman with brilliant ideas and your own sense of style - Own it love and don't apologize for any of it!

I saw the reel with the bluebells not too long ago and was like "wow this was shot so incredibly well." It was your husband!! You can tell how much he loves you by how absolutely beautifully he captured you on camera!

Your book changed my life. Changed me as a person. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to not only receive it. Because it’s stunning! But to listen to it. I listened every day on a walk along through the outskirts of Vancouver island near the ocean side. And everything you spoke about was all around me. It was a profoundly wonderful experience. And I truly think it’s one of the best! Audio books out there. Because it’s so easy to listen to. I frequently pop it on for my daily walks. Like a nice glass of wine on a summers eve. It’s just delectably perfect. And raw. I’ve never had siblings but if I were to have an older sister I’d hope she would be just as wise as you. So the advice was taken to the heart, it really has implemented my life significantly. Thank you Lydia.

What I want to say about the book is that reading it is time spent with you, very genuine, wise, pleasant woman. Some books are written to stay in history and be a light for generations.

I never thought chickens could make me happy…..but I love seeing your chickens walking around with the other fur babies ❤️🐣🥰

H&M are my favourite shop and have patronised them for 25 years + and they never disappoint me and I tell them how lovely their shop is all the time and the music they play is wonderful. Can't fault them in any shape or form. Viva H&M.

I think there’s a tendency in us to always want more, and even with all the upgrades and remodeling, we might be left feeling unsatisfied, but I think that could be because there is something missing inside of us, a void perhaps, or a feeling of ennui or not being entirely true to ourselves. We sort of lose our perspective on things and we channel that energy into wanting more. Despite that you and Ali are a lovely, wonderful couple, I can’t also help but sense that there is some martial discord between the two of you. You might be best friends but have grown apart in emotional intimacy. I think perhaps before the divide becomes wider it’s sometimes more important to take a step away from social media and rediscover the things that excited you about each other. Much love ❤

I loooooooooove the beams! I’m all about bringing natural textures in. I live a blank slate home and add character and personal details with raw and natural textures. Your home has become so so beautiful. trust the process, always. Also the spider squeak was adorable and got me laughing. 😆

I often ask myself why i watch these types of videos as sometimes the details are innane like watching someone talk about every miniscule of their day when I wouldnt listen to this in real life. I love the addition of beams to your dressing rooms! I have kept and exposed all of my beams as well ( against my husbands will hahah). I understand that your beams are not structural and original to the building but the result is just as stunning! There is nothing to panic about. If you love it you love it! ❤

For rooms getting non-structural elements, the best test is to get large foam blocks and paint them (perfectly or imperfectly) like wood or however you want. Put them (or just one) up for a month, and i you love it, go from there. But if you hate it, you haven't done anything permanent to the structure of your home. ❤ They are beautiful, nice choice.

Would you consider doing a house renovation and styling lessons that you have learned along the way or any mistakes to look out for. Perhaps take it room by room and walk us through your thought process and decision making. Can you please explain how and why you have chosen any of the companies to work with and what challenges have faced whilst dealing with project managing your own home. I know there are some videos that touch on it but I think you can give us great insight now as a seasoned professional 😊
