Timeless Fence Posts still performing perfectly after 3 years of installation!

Timeless Fence Posts still performing perfectly after 3 years of installation! If you want the best permanent electric fence post made, Timeless posts fit that title. If you use an inferior electric fence post and your livestock get out, DON'T DO THAT! Build your fence once and be done with it. There is nothing more important than building a secure perimeter fence around your farm. Your livestock deserve the security of not getting out on the road and you will enjoy the peace of mind knowing that they are safely contained on your farm.

    I’m super glad you posted this. I was reading “No Risk Ranching” and was a little confused on the description to the fencing you were talking about and needed an example.. So THANK YOU !!

    Love my Timeless fence posts! 7 wire around the cannabis grow area and 5 wire line fence. Have more to install. I'm done with steel t-posts.

    We love our Timeless posts as I told you a few months ago we ran 7 wires to make sure our cattle doesn't get out on the state highway we are on close to a popular tourist destination here in SE Missouri. By the way we are planning to get our bale unroller later this year after we finish fencing the rest of the property. We compared the cost on both kinds of fence and the cost was really close.

    If you're in snow country the timeless fence post will sink into the ground forcing your wires downward

    Thanks for the video! I’m all caught up watching your videos now. I love my Timeless fence too. I’ve been putting some in this hard dry ground. It’s been pretty dry here, and it wasn’t easy at all. I called timeless and they said you might need to do a pilot hole or wait until it rains. I know they go in easy when you get rain because I put some in earlier and it was easy. This past week seemed like a long week with everything breaking here. Chainsaw, tractor, and almost my patience😂! Talk about cedars trees. We thought we lost one of our baby calves because we were looking all over for it. I thought someone took it because we couldn’t find it anywhere. Finally my daughter found calf underneath a cedar tree. It was buried in there besides the head sticking out. The mother was looking all over for it too. Then, we went inside the house for a couple hours and came back out and calf was missing again. The calf was even further underneath the tree, so we got it back to its mother again. The mother was going wild again because the tree was on the other side of the temporary fence. She is a really great mother too! By the way, I mentioned your name when I bought my timeless fence posts and other equipment that I bought them too.

    They don"t last up north in Canada, if its -40 celsius and a deer runs through the fence the posts are so bitter they snap off.

    @@gregjudyregenerativerancher do you have an opinion about floating braces (instead of H braces). I've installed a couple and like them so far, but don't have any long term data on them.

    The sucker rods go down 4 feet in the ground? How come you just don't use a cedar tree for your bends/corners in your line?

  • @gregjudyregenerativerancher

    Because cedar posts around here rot off in 5 years, then you have rebuild your fence. Sucker rods don’t rot or rust and are insulated. Win-Win.

    Is it true that Timeless Fence posts will drive in any rocky ground where a steel t-post can be driven? I have a 1 mile perimeter to fence build, and this is what I was told by a Timeless Fence rep.

  • @3lbm3

    @3lbm3

    Not necessarily. We got the 1.5" timeless posts and sometimes had to drive steel posts through the clay/rocky soil, yank them out, and then drive the timeless post in the hole.

    At 10:17 he mentions a rock core bit for rocky ground to drill a hole then install the timeless post. I'll look into that.

  • @kennethmiller8415

    @kennethmiller8415

    11 ай бұрын

    @3lbm3 I doubt Greg actually meant a rock "core" bit. A true core bit is designed to remove an intact core of the material your drilling through for inspection purposes. Timeless recommends to pre-drill impassable material using a standard rock or concrete bit attached to a rotor hammer or other drilling device. Look on Google and you can find some videos showing pre-drilling

  • @3lbm3

    @@kennethmiller8415 no, I used a motorized t-post driver to install, but just a manual lever action t-post puller to bring them out. Only needed to add a breaker bar to the puller handle for leverage once.
